In their recent "AI Slop" video (where, ironically, the AI clips they showed were the only interesting and funny parts) Mike promises the AI haters in RLM's audience that they will never use AI in their videos (despite literally using it multiple times in that same video).
So then in the recent catch-up video they again show AI clips that people made to make fun of the gay coming out scene in Stranger Things.

So I guess they're fine with using AI in the videos they profit from, just so long as they don't generate it themselves and don't credit/pay the people that created the clips they use? That's the most slimy hypocritical stance they could take: if you're an anti-AI sperg because datacentres are destroying the planet and it's removing human creativity or whatever stupid bullshit justification then why would you use AI content in your videos at all?
And again the AI clip mocking Stranger Things was the most interesting part of that boring video.

I got my dream job, then lost that job, went through the stresses of I.P. loss/ownership, started a business with a bunch of idiots (the best idiots really), and I’m getting divorced.
(Note: it’s an amicable divorce, having nothing to do with my alcoholism)

Personal stuff not aside, this is my first full year being single in a very long time.
There has been an immense amount of sadness, stress, paperwork, and paperwork related stress & sadness during and since my (mostly amicable) divorce. But for the first time, in A LONG time... I'm alone.
And loneliness cuts DEEP.
Most of my anxiety over the past year stems from the great nothingness that I now sometimes come home to.
That anxiety leads to poor sleep, which leads to an overly tired tomorrow, which leads to anxiety, which leads to me wanting a god damned drink!

I don't think the need is inherently strange, we are very social animals. The problem comes from treating social media like a diary or journal. We used to have dedicated sites for that, now people will traumadump to rando's half a world over because they liked some of your posts on Twitter.
