Really? Even when I watched more of RLM, Mike seemed more of the passive liberal type who will follow the party line while Jay was the one that actually would proudly declare his love for Hillary Clinton and whatever the latest cause was.

Also I was convinced that there was a fair chance that he was secretly gay.

Without going too much into spoilers the poojita is in deep denial about the situation, clinging to the illusion that her kid is still her kid, and Carol's racial skill of Karen powers have caused multiple incidents that shatter that illusion, so the poojita hates Carol.

There are four things (modern) Redditors care a lot about.
1. Pleasure as the most important good
2. Being as "nice" as possible
3. Having (usually progressive) politics/beliefs that won't get you in trouble
4. Being a strategic nihilist/materialist
These all interrelate and support each other. Point 4 supports point 1, because if you reject religion and meaning you can pursue hedonism more effectively and without guilt. Point 2 is often the justification for point 3. Point 4 and point 3 often go hand in hand "you live on a spec of dust and you chose to be racist?". Being reddit has nothing to do with intelligence. Calling someone reddit doesn't mean they are retarded. In fact the Redditor is often a midwit, that is, someone with a slightly above average IQ.
As an example, Will Wheaton and Chuck Wendig are very strongly reddit.
I make no commentary on who in the RLM gang is more or less reddit.
