That episode was Space Mutiny and was released Aug 1, 2014 - over a decade ago.
RLM can hold a hell of a grudge.

I imagine they get flooded with comments from old MiSTies every time they run a movie that Joel/Mike and the 'bots had their fun with, and I'm sure those aren't the only two -- I'm positive, for instance, that I saw that crazy Mexican Santa Claus movie on MST3K, but that episode's even older than Space Mutiny. It'd be interesting to see how much crossover there is.

It was an okay episode. It's one of the few times where I watched all 3 movies. Usually I've only seen 1 or 2 when they do one of these. Devil Story got similar reactions when I played it for movie night once.

Devil Story felt like it crossed from funny bad to annoyingly bad, it wasn't like their reaction to Dangerous Men. I thought the Zombie Nightmare movie was a better all around discussion.

Might be the way the discussion was paced, but the Devil Story segment went for way too long for me, wore out its welcome by the end. Might just be that i wasnt in the right mood, though.

Agree that the Zombie Nightmare discussion was better

I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s a result of drinking with the RLM guys while filming, but this is the first time I’ve noticed how much Jack Quaid looks like his father. When he cracks that wide grin he looks almost identical.

he looks kind of like his father if his father had some kind of nutritional deficiency or maybe a hormonal imbalance of some kind
They fall squarely into the "goofily handsome" category -- there is no upper limit to the number of goofy-looking pictures of Jack and Dennis 🎃

I enjoyed the hell out of all of these videos, but I wish they had covered a little more in this one. Like, give a minute to each of the awful Puppet Master sequels they hadn't covered already.

I remember half-seeing Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys back in the day. What a piece of shit. Vanessa Angel deserved better.

Dollman is a fun Full Moon flick. Not quite Trancers good, but Jackie Earl Haley gives a performance as the lead drug dealer villain that'd make you swear you were watching a much better movie.
