Sam Fuller was a sort of gonzo director and screenwriter of low budget pulp, but germane to this conversation he played a ... well, a Borscht Belt-flavored Nazi hunter in A Return to Salem's Lot. Which, despite the title, has very little connection to the King story, other than it being the name of small Maine town full of vampires. It's an incredibly entertaining bad movie, and deserves better recognition. If it ever shows up on Best of the Worst it should win in a walk.

This one was unbelievable. Jack Quaid needs to quit his day job and join RLM. I've never seen them act this worked up in general.

I'm kind of surprised that they made two videos talking about all the Friday the 13th movies and didn't pick up that the long ending of "In a Violent Nature", where nothing happened, like the whole movie, was subverting slasher clichés of the genre.
Like the final girl, you keep waiting for the killer to show up somehow, but it never happens.

Halloween episode was great. Was well paced as well, didn't feel long at all. As a viewer I didn't feel like any of the three movies were boring. I'm not sure if I read it here or on the Reddit but Jack is a very good guest, he gives them a good amount of energy (maybe since he's a lot younger than them).

Also I go back and listen to Mike's bizarre thing on coincidences in the Woman's Firearm video and it's always hilarious.

I find that it's always a bit disappointing when I see them review movies in BOTW that I've seen/watched other people watch, like After Last Season, Wish Upon, Pass Thru (I was really underwhelmed by their reaction on that), or Unmasking the Idol. I don't know why. I don't think there's something I'm looking forward for them to say, so I'm not sure what it is. Maybe I get too excited/hype it up too much to truly enjoy it. I know I enjoyed their HitB on Wish Upon way more than their spotlight on it.

Heads up: be wary of external reviews at IMDB. I clicked on one for Devil Story that was on a site that doesn't exist anymore and got some pop-up malware on my computer that has survived scans from four different anti-malware programs.

Jack is annoying.

Im talking about the bald one.
He does have some funny moments but almost all of them are because of other poople and not something he said or did.
The new and improved Jack is a breath of fresh air.
BOTW has gotten kind of stale, im in favor of then doing more random stuff like, vader suit, jerry springer, the trivia videos, mike reading metal band names, etc.

Outside of Macaulay Culkin, their guest showed little to no respect for Mike. Jack Quaid kept talking over him constantly. Mike looks uncomfortable throughout the video. What's up with that? I know people joke that every time RLM has a celebrity cameo they have a scandal. Justin Roliand and Max Landis. What could Jack Quaid get in trouble for if he had one?

My theory is that Jack's so much younger than them and is probably feeling it. I thought Jack's skit in the last one was lame, but in this one when he just talked and laughed he was really a highlight of the whole video. Jack's pre-written lines at the start of this one using their comedy style didn't fit either. They're turning into geezer old hacks for real and his impromptu reactions are more like how they used to be and are great.

Haven't watched the whole video yet but I noticed Jack was talking over everyone quite a bit from what I seen. Don't think he was doing it on purpose, seemed a bit drunk.

Pretty good Halloween episode; Jack Quaid definitely has good chemistry with them. I had to laugh at how prickly they got over Zombie Nightmare being an MST3K episode, since it's one of my favorites and I've seen it a bunch of times. (Never in such clarity, though -- when it's not on Blu-Ray you really can't tell there are two different zombies, and the print they used on MST3K was in especially rough shape.) I did notice they made none of the same jokes that the MST3K crew did ... probably because Josh wasn't around this time.

Devil Story really looks like something special.

The whole movie is there. I tried to watch a bit, but as I've gotten older I like these commentaries more than watching the raw movies.

The movie is very short, and frankly I don't see all that much horse content really, they're just playing it up a lot.

This. Josh Davis and Jack Packard are two different stages of comedy cancer and anti-charisma. They both act like make-a-wish kids still trying to milk sympathy and attention after being in remission for forty years, while hamming it up for a camera that just hates them.
