It's funny. I saw Krull on TV as a child and I loved it. BUT, key thing to keep in mind, I started watching it during the last 30-40 minutes. So I unknowingly skipped over all of the boringness of the movie. When I saw it again as an adult I was shocked at how slow it was. It's a great example of a 3rd act completely saving a movie.

This episode is a fucking onion, I swear. The first layer is laughing at cringy metal band names, but then there's the moments where Mike and Rich show that they don't even know what "immolation" means, or how Mike scoffs at how metal fans don't know how to pronounce "macabre" only to immediately pull up a band named "Micawber" and not realize that the band is making the exact same joke, there's a joke about how death metal is all about gore which is "far away from the Fab Four" who shot this album cover. Mike calling the Netherlands a Nordic country. Mike tries to explain to Rich what death metal is, only for Rich to go "like Metalocalypse, right?" and Mike to not know what the fuck he is talking about.

And then there's the next layer where the metal nerds react, with some retards predictably sperging out over how Mike doesn't know the difference between death metal and black metal, and the official Youtube channel for the Metal Blade label give its approval, and the drummer for fucking Devourment says he loved the video. The fact that Mike keeps making addendums in the comment section because of all the sperging. Fuck it's beautiful. This is art.
