New wheel of the worst
https://youtube.com/watch?v=yiCL5Nx1lrsBeardfat is in it
just finished their discussion on the woman's guide to firearms. i found their not understanding the marketing a bit frustrating. how do they not get that to market a training film to women you put a woman as the main character and slap "woman's guide" in the title? i mean they understand this just fine when Disney markets to women or blacks by having a woman or black actor as the lead and their marketing material is all about the female lead.

i duno, at times i find them to be a bit frustrating, like they should know better.

just leaving this here

Mike not being there when they actually shot up some BOTW DVDs by saying if he was he would have put the gun in his mouth made me think Rich and Jay were actually thinking ahead on that.

Pretty low energy episode, but Mike's rant about coincidences was funny at least.

Beardfat is just the worst, sometimes I get the feeling that even the main 3 don't like him. Does anyone know how he came to be on the show? And what that stupid fucking Wizard name thing was all about?

Adding to the Beardfat hate, it's getting grating to me how the common answer to any jokes coming his way is a low energy "ohh..."

No follow up, no chemistry, no nothing most of the time

I didn't get what the fuzz was about from having a guide to guns marketed towards women, think it was Rich that called it a marketing ploy to get more gun sales, and since men were the majority of gun owners, they had to cater to women... And that's a bad thing or something? Havent watched the full episode yet, but that's what i got so far

Legit bitching, i'm getting sick of youtubers complaining about youtube. I get it, that's how you pay your bills. But just like any coworker complaining about the same thing day after day after day every single hour, it gets annoying

I think wizard was some movie forum name. They met there and Irl since they're all from Milwaukee. BOTW evolved from their b movie nights so I assume they invited him to those and eventually BOTW.

I assume the Wizard nickname has something to do with Joshs music. He's probably a Wizard with some instrument or something.

Either that or he was a virgin until past the age of 30.

It might not be the direct money earner, but people pretending they do not need youtube are being silly. If they lost their channel, those patreon subs will start to diminish. Its too late to go back to blip, where else are they going to go, they need youtube. Its why youtube doesnt care about patreon, its still the only bit people can not lose if they have any hopes of making money. One dodgy video and they could be hit with a reddit campaign, and the very people they pander towards will be the very same group that destroys them.

You want that money, you better play the game or end up on kiwifarms or some other far flung shithole with no hope of earning money.

(yes I am that old)

while there have been BoTW i havent been able to finish in one sitting, and only a single one i cant think of that i never did finish, i disagree with you guys; i had no problem finishing it. sure, it was by far not their best, but there was nothing horribly wrong about it. wasnt as funny or engaging as previous ones, but wasnt dry or boring to me.

I'm going to be honest with you guys: this was the first BoTW video I simply couldn't finish.
I wish they made more of an attempt to filter for tape quality. Their commentary was messy in this one and not in that fun of a way but that really wasn't the issue, most of the tape options just were not good. The ones they landed may as well be the worst of the bunch and wasn't helped by the mistaken introduction of the beasel tape. They haven't hidden their willingness to cheat for potentially better material before so why stop?

Is it just me or have they gone downhill since covid?
They've been phoning it in a bit more I'd say. The worst tendency is when Mike starts rewriting a movie... it always goes on way too long, isn't funny, and misses something that he knows himself from Space Cop: ideas are a dime a dozen, it's the execution that counts.
