After years of targeting Doug Walker, it appears that BreadTube is now directing its attention toward Red Letter Media. As far as I can tell, Reddit continues to support them. Why go after red letter media now? Nightmare Masterclass might be the most crackhead looking of all the breadtubers. Even for a community full of drug addicts.

Maybe the mad at the movie theater thing they’ve got going on? Jay and Mike would NEVER attribute their experiences to race, but over the past week, I’ve been seeing conversations calling out racial demographics in their city for their theater experiences sucking.

If the guys don’t do a big disavow, that’s all breadtubers need to feel they secretly agree.

Red Letter Media has explicitly expressed the belief that streaming services such as Netflix represent the future of cinema, rather than large-scale blockbuster productions. Being pro-Netflix is becoming similar to being pro-AI now.

I will say the under two minute long videos that had nothing to do with RLM did not exactly thrill me to the idea of watching the half hour one that is about them.

Additionally, much of the content produced by BreadTube aligns with this perspective. For instance, the well-known Wendigoon takedown approached a duration of nearly three hours and scarcely addressed Wendigoon or conservative horror filmmakers.

What’s interesting is, much of the content on streaming platforms (especially Netflix) is geared towards them. Like to the point of ruining established entertainment brands for them.

I find it interesting that Donald Trump’s son-in-law is purchasing WB to add to Paramount, especially after discussions about threats to democracy and concerns about fascism. Additionally, there appears to be support for Trump and for Paramount preventing Netflix from acquiring WB. Personally, I do not have a strong attachment to the ongoing corporate mergers beyond the fact that I hope shows like Smiling Friends are not canceled, as they are related to the history of Doug Walker and Red Letter Media. It seems that Donald Trump’s primary interest is in seeing Rush Hour 4 come to fruition.
