I was really sure that was revealed in OnslaughtIn the 1960s??? I have a hard time believing that. I thought it was something made unnecessarily explicit in more recent times.

Seeing the panels posted I realize the onslaught story was actually making reference to that moment.Maybe they just took the initial idea and got ugly about it. Throwing shit on old characters might not have started in comic books, but it seems to have become prevalent there way before it did in movies and television.
All they need at RLM is one Nerd Crew episode that just brutally rips on the grifter types and then just let it sit there without ever mentioning it again. Then go back to normal programming and not even acknowledge the screeching maniacs and loudmouthed faggots that pollute pop culture discourse. The Fandom Menace and other anti-shills are such screeching faggots and grifters that my inclination is to side with RLM; but the stuff the Nerdrotics of the world are upset about (and making money off of, which is why I detest them) really are a problem, and indicative of the cultural rot the entertainment world has embraced, so the concentrated neutrality really makes RLM seem out of touch.
I would want it for the possibility of seeing one of them do a cringeworthy scottish accent. Hard cut to Tyrion vomitingThe problem is that Nerd Crew was designed to be like the shills, not the grifters, so it would come off weird.
On top of just looking like more sour grapes. They honestly just need to drop it.

I don't see how you can parody Fandom Menace talking points in a way that dismisses them. The problem is that Nerd Crew was designed to be like the shills, not the grifters, so it would come off weird.

"Hollywood's run by commies!"
Well, James Woods had to hide his affiliation with Oppenheimer because of his politics. Gina Carano was fired for having milquetoast opinions on Twitter. Hollywood definitely has a Left-wing bias.
"Star Wars is fake and gay now!"
Lesley Headland is the showrunner AND is massively incompetent. Before her is the Sequel Trilogy, which is objectively incompetent.* "Somehow, Palpatine returned" summarizes everything wrong with the Sequels.
"Diversity is bad and wrong!"
Ghostbuster 2016 is weaponized DEI on screen. Ivan Reitman's done his best to rehabilitate that IP, but the stink of 2016 lingers on. Any show that has weaponized DEI to berate fans always gets massive hate beyond the mediocrity it otherwise would have warranted.
"Chuds! Don't watch strong, independent women!"
People are rightfully sick of that trope. Even actresses because America's strong independent women aren't characters.
*We might owe Rian Johnson thanks, actually. His movie was so shockingly bad that it woke normies out of the corporate DEI-ification of the Sequel Trilogy. If JJ had his full way, it would have been Impossible Burger replications of the OT instead of actual stories. I don't think it excuses his bad movie though.
Film threat outright hosts indie movie events, awards, and interviews directors. The talking points are fine. Continuing to make money off these woke, compromised, dogshit-quality franchises by never shutting the fuck up about them and posting daily ragebait videos instead of, I dunno, using their influence to highlight lesser known creators (there is a huge movement of indie authors and artists who are not just "not woke" but positively right wing) is hypocrisy of the highest degree. I don't begrudge these guys making a living off it, but let's stop pretending they're doing a lick of good in getting gigantic corps like Disney and Amazon from backing off their agendas a jot or a tittle.

I fail to understand how they're part of the problem. The Fandom Menace isn't wrong about Disney and the other soulless entities burning down the culture, but they're also part of the problem.
I fail to understand how they're part of the problem.
They're gay and annoying and steer the side that doesn't enjoy DEI slop to be gay and annoying as well.I fail to understand how they're part of the problem.
They contribute nothing other than to advertise for Disney and other trash, just from a hatewatching perspective. Yeah, The Acolyte sucks. You need to do a blow by blow for every episode? Yeah, Rings of Power pisses on Tolkien's grave. Is this episode going to be EVEN WORSE than the last one? The suspense is killing me!
They've perpetuated the gay hate watching trend.
Who cares? There is no evidence that hate watchers or Youtubers are driving viewers to this crap.
If that's the case then why does the majority of the stufff "advertised" by these channels get boycotted and ends up losing money? They contribute nothing other than to advertise for Disney and other trash, just from a hatewatching perspective.
Funny that you'd post this in a RLM thread where the entire channel is built off hate watching Star Wars, Star Trek, Avatar, Resident Evil, Baby's Day Out, etc.Hate watching is gay faggot shit
