Psycho Patrol R is a mecha FPS hybrid policing and punishment simulator set in the decayed state of Pan-Europa. You play as an officer of the European Federal Police, a V-Stalker pilot of Psycho Patrol, a special unit tasked with counter-psychohazard operations and neural meltdown prevention using cutting edge criminological frameworks. The battleground of the 21st century is the human brain, the base unit of the hyperconjoined egregore Terra. The soul of the planet is on the verge of collapse. Your chances are 0.001%.

Looks like it will have much deeper gameplay than Cruelty Squad, the number of bars and stats indicates so. Real immersive sim hours up in here.

I think Cruelty Squad was cool because its visuals, themes and (to an extent) gameplay were something nobody had seen before. Seeing it twice kind of diminishes that.

I'm really glad i found and played Cruelty Squad before the obnoxious algorithm-core faggots did, and villecallio's resentment of his dipshit fanbase is admirable. That being said, a lot of Cruelty Squad's draw and hook for me personally was the schmovement and arcade-y pick-up-and-play design, which this seems to significantly deviate from. Switching things up is wise and Cruelty Squad seems to have decent mods anyway for people like me who want more of the same. I trust him to deliver something that's at least mildly interesting again, and I hope he keeps doing the thing where he makes fun of the media literacy award wannabe-loremasters of his games for their impotent obsession over things he put exactly five seconds of thought into

I really wanted to get into Cruelty Squad but the visual look of it gave me a wicked migraine and I couldn't play for more than 30 minutes.

cruelty squad is only popular because its shocking someone would have the balls to charge money for something so intentionally shit.
the gameplay is not great at all. i dont think this one will be any different

I love how he expanded on Cruelty Squad's reload system: now jerking your mouse up while reloading empties all ammunition from your current weapon.

I just got it, shot my boss and he turned into a fucking tank with a gatling gun. Can't wait to dig into this more later, looks like ill enjoy it way more than cruelty squad.

I wish people stopped buying into Early Access. The deck is already stacked against this game releasing and being good. It will just turn Trannie infested like Ultrakill.
