If that is the case, it would imply that R corp is also involved (in a smaller scale at least) in recovering the Golden Boughs as per the contract with Lob Corp, but that's a big stretch imo, I think R Corp Hong Lu is just a red herring, the real Season teaser ID will be a Meursault ID of one of the Mao Branches (hopefully)

i wonder if its just gonna be a rcorp competitor cause like how oufi heathcliff was non seasonal cause le ring cosplay was the real seasonal
 
Seeing as The Middle has gotten a lot of attention during this past intervallo, I've accepted that we won't be seeing another finger for a while. My hopes are dashed to see an Index ID. Not sure how their singleton mechanic would work in Limbus, but it's something I've been looking forward to.

There's still space on the guaranteed 3 Star ID banner so I'm still holding on to a small belief that there's going to be a bloodfiend Mers to match his Carmella EGO.

isn't ryoshu's canto next? we're probably getting radio silence until the last 1-2ish intervallos of hong's season. we'll probably get to finally meet the pinky and hopefully the thumb or index get their own intervallo. The thumb IDs will probably be stance ammo bleed hybrid.
 
Reindeer Hong Lus stats are out

Blunt Charge Sinking ID, 2nd skill is the nuke and like reindeer ish will attack indiscriminantly at low charge count but can also gain attack weight, unique effect where each coin will attack a different target

Additional stuff
  • Unit also uses charge potency, with skills dealing more damage for every stack
  • 2nd skill also raises targets stagger freshold based on damge dealt, eatting some of tremors lunch

It reads to me like you'll play him like Priest Greger wherein you'll want to block a couple of times unless you like living on edge and bagging a couple Sinners. Concentration seems pretty beastly but he seems too gimmicky/risky to be in a serious sinking team for me? unless the S3 targets more than one enemy, (its not unusual for skills to have atk weight which weren't shown in their trailer) but we'll have to wait until he releases in full ofcourse.

Whenever a gacha starts giving free shit I'm getting worried about it's status. Can't believe it's been half a year since the last canto.

Anyways high chance we'll get to fight R Corp in new canto, probably more identities to anyone who's missing a charge set (so high chance of Rabbit Sinclair).
 
Although there's probably better team comps, I had a lot of fun running:

  3. Middle Sinclair
  4. Middle Don
  5. R Corp Mers
  6. W Corp Outis

Envy guard skills to build vengeance stacks for Sinclair and trigger Don's special counter.
Team gets buffed up with Telepole and Electric Screaming from Mers.

Very fun run. Wish I had Multicrack Faust. Would probably be a better fit than Outis.

I think what Hongers is reciting is a song/poem sang by Daiyu from the book which is either called "Lament for the Fallen Flowers" or "Song of Burying Flowers" which is the one Baoyu overhears Daiyu saying at the end of one of the chapters. The poem in question is referencing a thing Daiyu and Baoyu would do wherein they'd gather up fallen petals scattered on the ground within the garden and bury them so they could be returned to the Earth.

Information on the rollout for the next season was released

TL : DR

Most things are similar to how previous seasons operated
  • Half your EGO shards are converted to Thread
  • Main story is split into 3 parts, releasing weekly
  • Season pass also split into 3 parts (lv20, lv40, lv120 and beyond), releasing weekly
  • Season Pass Lunacy Pack (1300 paid Lunacy) for US$11
  • Identity level cap increased by 5, up to 55
  • new EXP luxcavation upon completing Chapter 8 Part 2
  • Season 5 ID and EGO are going in the vault, unless you dont mind waiting for them to roll around in Season 7, get them before the next season starts
The Main change from previous seasons
  • The amount of EGO in the battlepass is being lowered from 6 to 4, the reason given that they're under a time crunch and the choice was either to cut back on the quantity of animations they'd do for EGO or lower the quality of the animations for enemies and cutscenes during Chapter 8. They chose the former while trying to keep the remaining animations for the battlepas EGO up to the quality standard of previously released EGO. To compensate for this and to try to maintain the value of the battlepass other rewards have either been added or the quantity increased.
