The debuff affects affinity resistance, for example if the target has 1.5 Wrath resist, it would take 150% Damage from Wrath affinity damage. If the enemy then were to have 3 stacks of the debuff (+0.1Wrath resist per stack), it would have 1.8 Wrath resist and take 180% Wrath affinity Damage.
Note that resistance is halved when below 1.0: if the target has 0.5 Wrath resist, it would take 75% Wrath affinity Damage. With the same debuff stack, 0.8 Wrath resist and 90% Wrath affinity Damage.

It's pretty backwards. Should have renamed it affinity weakness.
 
Jia Huan finally got his name fixed in Japan after they had announced to fix it about a year ago, this gives me hope for a fight against him during Canto VIII.

I think pretty unlikely. Filler banners are usually just one offs to fill dead weeks. Its hard to see an 000 and EGO when we have the next season and WN probably happening in relatively short time frame taking up their focus. He will probably be an early season banner, and I think definitely a WN ID along with two ladies.
