I think I was right all the way back in season 2.
Dante is Young-ji.
Dante is going to betray limbus company for his waifu.
Meta gaming but, in the divine comedy. og Dante's goal was
to retrieve Beatrice who is stuck in purgatory.
Also taking a note from Ruina where
all of the plotlines were parallels to Angela or Roland.
Dante's waifu (
assuming its not Carmen) has been concept killed by the concept incinerator just like Catherine.
In Heathcliff's chapter, Damien asks Dante if he would prefer his universe's waifu or some other universe's in which he responds his own.
In Yi sang's chapter, in one of the flashbacks its implied that the mirror universe technology was developed by young-ji for a specific goal, but it didn't meet his expectations.
Dante's powers are clearly building the Qliphoth tree, so lets assume the negative aspects of each sinner's story apply to Dante.
Gregor's story: He was the hope for his corporation before he lost control and deserted.
Rodya's story: Her actions for justice ultimately brought attention and ruined the people she was trying to protect.
Sinclair's story: He disliked his family/friends and radicalized only to regret it.
Yi sang's story: He isolated himself from his friends to keep them from his work and ultimately lost agency in his life.
Ishmael's story: How her and Ahab's obsessions doomed the people who relied on them.
Heathcliff's story: He didn't understand his waifu's perspective.
Don's story: She didn't value the time she had with her adoptive family and eventually their goals became incompatible.

I kind of hope
"Beatrice" isn't Carmen but here's something to keep in mind.
Because Ayin's time machine isn't perfectly sync'd, the seed of light project ends 10+ years after Carmen's death.
So this does align with Young-ji's timeline.
With all that said, here is what I think has/is happening.
Dante helped coordinate limbus company for the purpose of recreating Carmen's seed of light project for his goal to get his waifu back. I get the feeling that this is ultimately going to fail. (Since the light has already been created and dispersed and altered the laws of physics, it's probably not possible to recreate.)
This will make Dante big mad and super distort like
Roland.
However
unlike Roland I don't think Dante is going to be able to just move on, and he will leave the company.
og Dante leave's hell for purgatory halfway through the story, so I think there's a good chance that Dante and the sinners will straight up abandon Limbus Company and the city for the outskirts.
Bonus spoilers:
I think it's really suspicious how many resources limbus company has even all the way back in the earlier seasons. This is without it being directly tied to a major wing like N corp. So I still think the Head is directly involved with limbus company. Especially when you consider that the city was deliberately built to be as hellish as possible. Almost as if it's an initial failed attempt to create conditions for the seed of light project.
I already mentioned this at some point, but the Golden Bough are definitely severed pieces of Carmen's nervous system.
I don't think Dante revives the sinners and is instead bringing in other mirror universe versions of themselves when they die much like the wild hunt characters in Heathcliffs chapter.
Faust was part of the same eugenics program that argalia and angelica were in.
