I don't play this game at all but this thread is fascinating. Very nice to watch a handful of kiwis indulge in their autism and have fun with it.

Speaking of autism stats for Rodions ego was released

Burn Pierce multicoin EGO with unbreakables on the corrosion, gains attack weight with resonance, base state has a chance to heal units based on resonance, inflicts unique effect, corrosion gives bonus burn with unbroken coins, on kill gives wrath power and damage up to allies based on resonance
  • note, writing for unique effects is assumed wrong, stating to give wrath resistance instead of wrath resistance down

bonus stat: 3rd healing EGO for unique status' team for Rodion, tremor has Persuance, bleed has Hex Nail, now burn has this
 
Ok, which units should I use to clear the railway quickly? I've been procrastinating all season and now I'm rushing through everything.

Personally, I used a LaManchaLand bleed team for sections 1 and 3, and a BL + Full Stop team for section 2. Remember that you can choose between all unlocked power-ups after completing a stage, and that bosses have unique power-ups that are stronger than the others.
 
I might be late on this but has anyone noticed a similarity between the melting shelter in the nocturnal sweeping event and the melting of Ayin’s office in lobotomy corp day 48
I know Ayin outsourced a lot of other corps for their singularity tech, I don't think dante's notes even mention anything about that melting shelter tech.

We still haven’t gotten the Dante's Notes update (I made the mistake of thinking the teaser came later). You'll have to wait until the final weeks of this season for it.

Bleed and poise had by far the better stage perks in the railway. So, if you want to get more out of those I recommend a bleed team for 1-3. For line 2 you can get by with any decent poise team, but BL Meursault will make it go by quicker if you get his S3 to hit once or twice.
Edit: For the bleed team I heavily recommend KK Heathcliff for the free damage from his lust resonance passive. Pairs well with Priest Gregor because of his mechanics and guard.

I love that she's becoming the dedicated party healer with her EGOs considering she's becoming more unhinged as the story progresses.

I wonder if she's going to defect somehow. I think she's mentioned regretting her decision to not go with Yurodivy man a couple times.
 
Thought I'd share this since patternfaggotry is a staple for PMoon and found it interesting: I heard the gooks surmise a "counter clockwise" theory which points out how the BP EGO arts all seem to be turning around.
Ryoshu's 4th Match Flame is slightly left but with her back to the "camera"
Yi Sang's Sunshower is facing completely left
Ishmael's Blind Obsession is slightly left but facing forward this time
Heathcliff's Binds is facing completely forward
Don's Yearning Mircalla is slightly right but facing forward
And now Hong Lu's also facing to the right
So by this logic, Ryoshu's Canto IX EGO will have her slightly right but with her back to us and Meursault will completely face away from the "camera."
 
Im in a constant state of "I fucking hate this game, RNG as a mechanic fucking sucks" and "I fucking love this game, This is the best mechanic, I love steam rolling bosses"

Are you forgetting what happened in canto VI? When Heathcliff distorted and attacked the sinners after unmasking the other Heathcliff.
Edit: They easily could use the monoliths that made Kim distort to make the sinners or others turn hostile towards the company.

The way I look at it, it’s just an exaggerated illustration of someone lashing out towards the people he cares about. In simpler terms, heathcliff was just having a spergout, admittedly he was miraculously brought back by an outside force but it wasn’t like it was meant to be a full on betrayal.

Imagine you have a friend that is going through it and they sperg out at you, that’s kind of like what the corrosion of ego is like, except a lot less destructive.

I really wonder if she'll actually play a pivotal role in the plot, like her betraying the group or actually repenting, instead of the constant "not special" thing that el director is doing
 
The game already feels comfortable enough for having specific character only fights. But I doubt there will be any character turnaround that will last more than the canto/event in it seeing it's a gacha. Only if it survives until the end of Dante's journey maybe there will be a fresh cast with interesting development to the previous cast.

It would have to be a WN ego unless limbus crew go to Angela's library 2.0 she said she was going to open at the end of ruina

It's implied that white knight and by extension one sin along with the rest of the alephs were located specifically within the L corp HQ since they needed as much energy as possible to power ayin's time machine.
