But it was also still a complete waste of a budget, because it was a porn film, and it was fucking awful. It's obvious they didn't spend the money on the actors, because they were terrible and were a big part of the reason the film was fucking awful. Scorsese these fuckers ain't. I doubt any of the people who put (genuinely good) hard work into the production went on to mainstream success outside the adult film industry (or within it, for that matter). Good for them if they did, but I doubt it was "worth it" for most people involved. Probably some fun stories to tell the kids at Christmas though (once they'd grown up, anyway).
You say "wasted" yet they made a SHIT TON of money. A bunch of studios pivoted to ONLY doing parody movies because they raked in MILLIONS. In one of the Louis Theroux documentaries he interviews one of these directors who had been in the business for like 30 years and when piracy was really taking off the only thing still selling was the parody DVD's, which he made hundreds of, and had a warehouse full of all the different ones he produced and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of props.

The budget on that first Pirates movie was 1 million. They spent $8 million on the second. You think they did this hundreds of times for literally no reason, just to waste money when they could have just paid some nigger three crack rocks in a warehouse? That second pirates movie sold like 250k copies....the first week.

You're massively underselling how huge that specific industry was before internet porn completely took over. And if you want Hollywood crossover Gianna Michaels made it into Piranha 3DD, the sequel to Piranha 3D, the remake of Piranha. So there's that.

Let's not embellish things. He had a warehouse full of unsold DVDs he was desperately trying to advertise throughout this entire interview, as well as a bench with remnants of some props that were a grade, maybe two above internet-bought Genshin Impact cosplays. He also sounded like an agitated crackhead telling you his life's story on a public bus.

Interesting nugget of information about that: Gianna only got the role because the first pornstar who was hired for it, Natasha Nice, got arrested (alongside several other people) for flashing while filming the story part of a porno in a public park, so they had to recast to not stall the production.

And it wasn't the sequel. She was in the first one.

Imagine being trapped in a war torn country where all the men in your family are either hiding in basements afraid to go outside and be kidnapped or they're dead. All the women flee internationally to safety. You get a break on the frontlines and open up the internet

https://bangbros.com/model/539873/candy-layla first scene March 2026, all three videos with gross monkeys fucking her in the ass, new video "Ukrainian Supermodel Takes it in the Ass"

This is what they're really fighting for lol

Jon Ronson got a different perspective from the people he talked to. The title and theme of the movies/scenes were created by combining popular search terms because that's the only way to get noticed by the search engines. That's how we ended up with shit like Cheerleader Step-Dad Laundromat Sleepover and it is fucking hilarious.

Is more casual sex actually happening?
If you do even the most basic of research it's quite evident that young people today are having far less sex than previous generations. Even Boomers got around more.
How do you reconcile what you see on the internet, vs reality?
You've gotta understand that for a while now feminism and porn have acted as controlled opposition to each other specifically to ruin people's attitudes regarding sexuality and relations between men and women, girls and boys. There's a reason why every critique of incels in the past 8 years has overfocused on "Look! These guys are horny! This is what male sexuality does to you, it's BAD! If a man wants you he's objectifying/love bombing/gaslighting/whatever therapy speak is popular right now!". Pornography is there to exploit and corrupt attitudes that have been repressed as a result of that retardation. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's a reason so many incels are into femdom and chastity.
Has it. altered our perception of what happns in the world?
It absolutely has altered our perception of sex. It was generally recognized in the past that sex is way more than just "ooga booga me move dick till nut". There's far more to it than that (and I don't even mean this in a softie, emotional way). Today that seems to be falling out of favor, and you can see the differences between older porn and new stuff that reflect those changing attitudes; the loss of plot or length in favor of 5 min quickies as discussed before probably has something to do with that. Women see this and are taught that all men are beasts out to get them as a result, although that's also part of the manipulation. The male and female sexuality have differences that are meant to compliment each other but when manipulated things can go out of whack very quickly. That's how you get the braindead feminist comments about how bad it is to "objectify" women. That is just a result of women not understanding how normal male heterosexuality works and being fearmongered about it. In terms of pornography consumption ruining perceptions women aren't much better because that unholy smut & yaoi shit may very well be just as bad if not worse than BBC slop.

People report having far less sex, but because porn is everywhere and every slut has a camera with internet access and no shame (also AI filters and predatory algorythms), it feels like everyone except you is fucking constantly, while in reality it's just a minority of degenerates who also broadcast about it. Also, only a minority of that minority is in any way attractive. Tinder is a good example, because if you only want to fuck/get fucked and your standards don't go beyond "wet hole/erect dick", it's a pudgy 3/10 galore on there.

What porn does, other than rewire the brain to be aroused when looking at others having sex, is make people forgo foreplay, or reduce it to absolute minimum. In porn it goes as follows: rudimentary dialogue, some kissing, she gives oral, he maybe reciprocates, then rams it all the way and pounds for twenty minutes, switching positions and bending at weird angles for the camera like some demented circus contortionist. That might look good for the camera, but in terms of sex, it's just awful, yet if your sex-ed was only porn and some moral panic preaching about STDs and teenage pregnancies, you really are going to think that best sex means "strip as fast as possible and start stuffing things in places", and that's just a recipe for a lot of confusion and hurt feelings.

Women are not the only ones who need foreplay to "get ready". The way it works, most men can't maintain sufficient erection on demand, but it's also very psychological on their end. While a woman can technically have intercourse dry (it's painful and overall a bad idea), a man can't just stuff his soft bits in there, and if he thinks he has to go steel rod from heaven the moment a female touches him and can't, the stress sets in. Then he starts wodering: "alright, I had a naked woman on top of me like I always dreamed of, I could do whatever I wanted, but I barely got it halfway up and had the most lackluster finish of my life. I thought I am supposed to like it. Am I gay?"

And don't get me started on how affection actually develops. Yes, love at first sight is a thing, sometimes you sniff out your "perfectly genetically matched mate" and it just clicks, but even then it takes time to figure out each other's rythm. Normal people need to get to know potential partners before they can even think of good sex, or find them attractive in the first place. But no, porn says "see woman, pants down, dick woman, pearl necklace, me happy", so that's how it's got to be in real life, right?

I had women tell me stuff like "oh, there is no need to communicate, the guy I'm with definitely knows what to do, he must've watched a ton of porn". So no one gets what they want and they suffer and doubt in silence because no one talks to each other anymore.

This whole social catastrophe in male-female relationships is the product of a perfect storm of bad things that hit just right to make everyone miserable and alone.

TLDR: Don't watch porn. Talk to each other.
