Two new SwSh Mystery Gift codes:

The first is for a Gastrodon with max IVs in HP, Defense, Special Attack, and Special Defense, with a 0 in Speed. It's fully EV-trained and is Holding an Expert Belt. The code is good until the 31st. PJCS2019CHAMP

The second is for a Trick Room Porygon2 with a max IV in HP and a 0 in both Attack and Speed, with everything else randomized. It's also EV-trained, and is holding an Eviolite. This code is only good for a bit over eight hours from now. PKMNPLAYERSCUP

Thanks friend!

The Dreepy line actually got a head start on that. They are based on Diplocaulus, a long extinct amphibian. Their lore even states they "became reborn" as Ghost types after their extinction.

Just remembered Decidueye also draws from such an idea, and from a far more recently extinct species (Hawaiian stilt-owls).
I thought Decidueye's typing was based on some still living hawaiian owl which locals believe to be carrying the spirits of their ancestors.

Its called the Pueo or something I think.

Mega Evolution is being added to Pokemon Go tomorrow for those of you who are interested.

They will be adding Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard (Both X and Y), Mega Blastoise, and Mega Beedrill first. To Mega Evolve a Pokemon, you need to collect Mega Energy. To collect Mega Energy, you need to complete Mega Raid Battles (Which is exactly what it sounds like, Raid Battles featuring Mega Evolved Pokemon). Once you collect enough, you can Mega Evolve a Pokemon for a limited amount of time (You can choose which form Charizard Mega Evolves into, and the amount of time will increase after the first time they mega evolve though). While Mega Evolved, any attacks they perform with the same Type as them deal double damage in Raids.

Pokemon masters just had a major update and gave us Professor Oak as a character with Mew.

Didn't expect that, but I guess it would be the best partner choice for someone that studies pokemon.

Mew being his sync Pokemon I think makes sense since there's material out there that states it was Oak who discovered Mew's existence as a Pokemon. I don't know how canon it is, though, but that's what I've always taken to heart since getting that deluxe edition of the official Pokemon handbook as a kid.

Still can't believe they thought Unite would go over well with Western fans, they should've announced it in place of New Snap and moves that announcement to its own thing in place of Unite. Can you imagine how much better the goodwill would be?
Unless I'm out of touch with what fans want, I highly doubt people wanted a LoL pokemon clone and much rather would've had a pokemon openworld MMO that people have been dreaming of.

Huh, so there's a boss battle in Super mystery dungeon that's just mewtwo without a dungeon attached to it and I was like "There has to be a catch to this."
Turns out that catch is recover in its moveset, for 900+ healing. Also I thought I was being clever when I took heal block but it turns out that with the way statuses work in this game a boss can recover from heal block and use a recovery move before you have the chance to reapply it. I guess the safest way to beat this thing is to stall it out with Shedinja and Spiritomb since its only offensive moves are psystrike and aura sphere.

Apparently a bunch of porn artists for Nintendo stuff found it was deleted, so they’re reposting it under the tag. :story:

Am I the only one thats seriously concerned over the future of the franchise ever since its entry into the Switch era?

Game Freak/Nintendo has been nothing but lazy with the brand as of late (with some exceptions of course, like Mystery Dungeon remake...now one of Explorers of Sky please...)

Sword and Shield are one of the most lazy entries I have ever seen...its honestly to God worse than Gen 6 for me (at least in X/Y you could "catch'em all"). It looks like a 3DS game with Switch graphics and this is the same console that gave us Breath of The Wild (which people were expecting Sword and Shield to be the pokemon equivalent of) so its intentional.

The whole controversy with it being clear that game freak did an awful job trying to justify not having all pokemon just to motivate their Pokemon Bank equivalent. Among many many other fuckery. And its concerning that they seem to prefer to artificially extent their life span by giving a lackluster base game and relaying on DLCs to "fix" the stuff that they have caused. Im really not looking forward any future gens if this is the standard now.

People have been saying they want Diamond/Pearl remakes on the Switch, they have the guts to announce a Chinese Lol clone made by Tencent...

This shit is honestly exausting

Read the past several hundred pages and I think you'll find you're far from the only one with that sentiment my good chum.
