I never use the festival plaza but when I do it's right when I'm getting ready to do something and I accidentally click it instead of save. Having to sit through the tutorial is just terrible and the plaza is boring. I've never been a fan of this kind of thing, just give me the player search system. I wonder what kind of variant they'll have for sword and shield and I hope it's better. For the love of God please re-add voice chat, its difficult to trade without it...
There was a voice chat for trading?

While I like Sirfetch'd, its still so weird to me how Pokemon has to show off only creature and nothing else to generate hype en masses.
I get it when Smash pulls it off but its usually because of recognized gaming icons, including fondly remembered old characters, but Pokemon achieving this level of hype always surprises me.

The Festival Plaza sucks but I couldn't get that much more out of the PSS to be honest.
All I really want is 6v6 battles in the battle spot, I hate having to pick out a single random player who then declines my request.

It was cool but every shiny I got felt fake and there was no real way to verify its authenticity.
Full ivs means it's fake af. If it's too good to be true it is. Also the name, my shiny Dusknoir is named "he cheated" so I mean obviously...

Because people have wanted a Farfetch’d evolution since like Gold/Silver. Most Pokémon trailers reveal a handful of new ones, but this was the first sole Pokemon reveal.

I'm kinda just hoping all the evos for the old Pokemon aren't just Galarian form based. Or if they are, give the old ones non Galarian evos too.

Still hyped for them, but it's gonna suck if you gotta jump through even more hoops to make the (eventual) national dex more complicated.

When did the Steel/Dragon type get revealed?

It really wouldn't kill the anime to have one slot reserved for a rotation of one of his many older Pokemon. If they truly have limited the DeX this time around, it be a good way to remind that the species of old exist.

I'd love to see mons like Glalie, Muk, Sceptile and others get adventures. Muk was one of the few who even went on a filler adventure in the Orange Islands.

We need Gary back just to show Ash he still has one more hurdle to pass. He may have won a Pokemon league, but he's never beat Gary in a battle yet (To my knowledge anyway from the last time I legit watched it before gen 4)

Ash beat Gary in the Johto League years ago, then he lost to the dude who brought a Blaziken to the Johto League.

In that case he needs to defend his new title like in the games. Besides he lost the last time he battled him and Gary just said fuck it I'm a professor in training now...

Shit that'd actually be a good new gen twist, Blue is the professor of the region, but he still battles for fun and training

Yeah, I had feeling they wouldn't let him go. Figured they do something like at the end Battle Frontier where he's given the position, but declines and decides to go on more adventures
