I'm so fucking autistic I forgot regional variants can have a a whole new type. So I legit though Farfetch'd was going to go from Normal Flying to fighting when it evolved.

Still a steel/fighting Evo though when it Gigantimaxes gives it a full suit of (duck) armor might be kinda cool.
 
I’m glad that Game Freak didn’t go the way SEGA did on Sonic Mania and hire a bunch of romhackers and fan artists. Imagine how autistic Pokémon would be if Game Freak did that.

When Pokemon got a lot bigger than they originally planned, they decided to go through the continuous cycle of making ash the forever loser because they felt that if he ever won a league, the show, and thus the gravy train, would be over because he reached his goal.

Huh. If Pokemon were to have decided to keep going with the anime and scrap Ash after he had won the Indigo league, would that pink-haired girl with the Pikachu been the new protagonist?

No, the pink-haired girl is the anime embodiment of Juri Ihata, the little girl who sung alongside Sachiko Kobayashi (who voiced the blue-haired woman, Miranda, Voyager in Japanese), for "Pocket ni Fantasy". The trailer was just a teaser involving idol celebrities advertising the movie (extremely common in Japan), which included Mayumi Iizuka, Misty's Japanese voice actress. There's nothing more to it. Things just got lost/misunderstood in translation that spread like wildfire for twenty years.
 
I never use the festival plaza but when I do it's right when I'm getting ready to do something and I accidentally click it instead of save. Having to sit through the tutorial is just terrible and the plaza is boring. I've never been a fan of this kind of thing, just give me the player search system. I wonder what kind of variant they'll have for sword and shield and I hope it's better. For the love of God please re-add voice chat, its difficult to trade without it...
 
Wondetrade was the best thing from gen 7 . Got many event legendaries. Although it did feel like cheat mode when you did it after Pokemon box launched
