The PGL for XYORAS shuts down on Halloween, so if you have Pokemiles to use or items to get, best to take care of that this weekend.

really early on i stumbled across some fan art of Lycanroc and Tiger of the Wind (from Monster Rancher) side by side and like a true autist i've been obsessed with the idea of GF possibly referencing Monster Rancher ever since. i really, really wanted at least Midday's shiny to be blue but i wasn't expecting much.

i'm in love now though because together, both Lycanroc shiny formes are almost the exact same two shades of blue as Tiger of the Wind.

i want to believe.

When are they going to give us the types of those so-called, Ultra Beasts?

I like to think that that they don't necessarily abide by regular typing, and instead function differently, say, the electricity one being weak to water and so on. Shame that wont be the case.

Holy shit, I freaked out over the Red and Blue reveal. Yeah, the more cynical part of me says that it's just for nostalgia points, but most of me is too busy screaming over seeing Red and Blue as adults to even care. Also, did you guys notice how Red's shirt says 96? 1996 is when Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green came out (oh, and if you didn't know, the character Blue is actually named Green in Japan).

And all three starters are amazing, but I'm 110% getting Poppilo so I can evolve it into Primarina. I was always going to, but the revelation that its part Fairy added that extra 10%.

EDIT: Oh, and the image of the female protagonist's face as she activates the Z Move in the newest trailer is blowing up.

I'm assuming she'll be referred to as "Moon" since the male protag in the demo was referred to as"Sun"

Oh man, all these new reveals, I'm really hyped about this game.

I love the fact the Owl is part Ghost type. It works really well with its design, and I'm definetly having him as my starter. I very much disliked the Cat's final evolution but after seeing his animation I changed my mind about him; he's a badass. Mermaid-seal, however, made the opposite effect; I think she looks gorgeous, but her animation and move are the most boring of the three; she's lacking a bit of personality. :(

I love the Ultra Beasts, the same way I love the Pokestar Studios' weird enemies. I think I've said this before, but I really dig how they are including more non-animal-based Pokemon and these strange entities in the new games. It gives the Pokemon world a bit of a weirder and more unique vibe; it is a world inhabited by supernatural things after all.

I'm a little disappointed that there aren't many new Pokemon, but I can understand why they would rather not clog up the world with a bagizillion beasts. As far as the Alolan forms are concerned, though... I don't know, there are many of them I dislike (sorry, but I really hate Alolan Persian, a complete opposite to what I think of Alolan Meowth).

I thought it was very clever of them to make so many Pokemon sea creatures and jungle animals with a tropical vibe. Makes the Alolan Pokemon feel a lot more native to their region and less " multinational generic".

I was a bit apathetic towards the Z moves but I have to admit some of them made me giggle, so props to the developers for that.

That's a really good point. We're at the point now where the developers can't really afford to put out 150 new Mons every generation because hundreds of them already exist. After all, the series' tagline is "Gotta catch em all," and actually being able to do that gets harder with each generation.

But it looks like, to make up for the lack of new Pokemon, they're going to be retooling preexisting Pokemon (Mega Evolution in Gen VI, Alola Forms in Gen VII). I think that's a pretty good compromise.

Daughter of Moon Man, perhaps? She looks white, so her journey is to use the power of the Guardians to kill all minorities, and make daddy proud!

Who's that Pokemon?

I don't know if you're joking or seriously asking, but I'm going to guess the latter since you're TK.

It is Tiger of the Wind, a character from the anime Monster Rancher. The anime itself is a(very loose) adaption of the Monster Rancher video game series, a monster raising sim that was primarily for the Playstation 1 and 2 consoles, and whose main gimmick was that you could scan other games or Misc. CDs(and for the PS2 games, DVDs) to find monsters on them. You could only raise one at a time, and unlike most monster series they could die from injury, sickness, or old age. It's a fun series overall but some of the later titles are hard to come buy since they had small print runs in the US.

Finished clearing out the PGL for all of my games today; I'll probably never need to buy healing items in Y or Alpha Sapphire again. I'm also only four Pokemon away from completing my Pokedex in Y (Arceus, Meloetta, Genesect, and Diancie, one of which will be distributed in December, one or two I'm expecting a code to be released for, and the other which I plan to trade a Volcanion for).

Genesect will be at GameStop as a code card starting Nov 1. I got an email about it.

I'm not autistic enough to go into a GameStop. They've been releasing codes a few months later for the GameStop ones (Mew and Darkrai so far, and I expect Arceus soon), but, worst-case scenario, a female bank ball Pokemon with decent IVs, a couple of egg moves, and an Enigma Berry has been enough to get me pretty much whatever I want on the GTS, not to mention that I have extra Volcanion which are going to be a lot more valuable in 2 days.

I just buy the code cards online, I live far enough away from any game stop that I'm saving money because the gas I use to get there.

so it seems that I'm not the only one still wanting to play it!

makes me forget about all the problems I have... especially with my ED thing... and alway searching for stuff like tadalafil coupon and so on and so forth...

Well yeah, lots of people still play Pokemon. Me, my GF, my brother, and her brother all are in our 20's and we're all planning to get at least one of the new games. While it's no longer my #1 favorite series, it is the one I've most consistintly gotten all of the latest games for when they come out.
