The second Pokémon TCG set, Scarlet & Violet: Paldea Evolved, was just released yesterday and the 6 most expensive card in the set are...
The Pokémon TCG Live app also dropped the set on Thursday. The new battle pass includes two new free decks (Chien-Pao ex/ Baxcalibur and you also get Forretress ex/Ambipom) and the notable freebies are more Chein-Pao ex, Wo-Chien ex (which you presumably swap out the Ambipom lines in the free deck for), a Shaymin V/VSTAR set, and a Secret Illustration Rare Iono.
I can't say I'm too surprised by Iono taking the first two spaces but I'm shocked to see that the Illustration Rare Magikarp and Tyranitar are that much. I expected Dendra and Chien-Pao to go for their respective amounts, Chien-Pao is a decent attacker with a nice Ability that pairs well with another Ability-powered Energy accelerator released in this set (Baxcalibur) while Dendra is largely based on the usual waifu tax.
Oh, and even though we're only two sets into Scarlet & Violet I'm really pleased to not see any cards over going for hundreds of dollars like some of the secret-rares did during the SWSH era.
