https://archive.md/441Ud Why am I not surprised that western wokescolds on Twitter are accusing GF of promoting colonialism with PLA.
It's just retards reeeing about how historically inaccurate fantasy is. I'll look into it, tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure that they're full of shit, as usual.

Edit: The Ainu are essentially hunters and fishermen who worshipped the animal spirits that they killed (which is the chief's responsibility to appease them). The MC's. cabin is more or less in line with their typical floorplan and the only thing that stands out is the Galaxy Expedition's main building...Which is justifiable because the Japanese had colonized the Ainu for their fish.

So yeah, SJWs of Twitter can't be bothered to skim Wikipedia.

This game has a plot?
Main plot spoilers:
Giratina gives Volo the Spooky plate sowing in him an obsession with Arceus. Giratina then tears open a hole in time and space to piss off Arceus in an attempt to make Arceus show itself. A side effect of the space time rift is that it causes unnatural lightning that drives certain Pokemon to rampage. Arceus, instead of intervening personally, sends you the player through time and space to settle things on its behalf. You quell the fury of the royal Pokemon being granted various plates along the way.

When the space time rift fails to draw out Arceus, Volo manipulates you into gathering all of the remaining plates to Spear Pillar. He reveals his intention to subjugate Arceus, unmake and then remake the world into what he would consider perfection with its power. Upon defeating him, you obtain the final plate and your Celestica Flute transforms into the Azure Flute granting you an audience with Arceus provided you have "met all of the Pokemon."
A Legends: Necrozma set in an open version of Alola, with the ability to freely Mantine surf between islands would be neat.

Or how about a Legends: Zygarde set in ancient Kalos?
No legends Unova with the complete Kyurem? I've always wanted to see what he looked like before he was torn apart.

PLA has really good music, too bad that it gets interrupted by horribly bland 'pokemon spotted you' music every 5 seconds

They’re complaining the game has colonialist undertones and you’re character is basically a colonist and usual sjw shit.

You know, I’m kinda impressed with how tough Pokémon are in this. Even when you’re like 20 levels higher than a wild Pokémon, they can still hit pretty hard.

Many times the alpha Pokemon's AI knows exactly what it needs to KO you, often times combining using a rapid-style super-effective move followed by the same move in strong-style with no way for you to act between them.

Can definitely confirm that Mass Outbreak shiny method works. I was accidentally doing it the wrong way at first, saving in Jubilie and going to the area, but the second I switched to the right way, I got both a shiny and an Alpha spawn in the same outbreak.

Edit: Holy shit, do I want a shiny Voltorb badly now.

To Bloom or Not To Bloom is a really stupid sidequest that takes far too long to do for the reward you get from it.

Seriously WHY?
It wasn’t too bad. I evoled one fairly early and then just Agile Petal Dance spam.

But if you haven’t had luck catching one, then yes, it would suck.

I finally gave up and looked it up: the Chers have an extremely high spawn rate on shaking trees in the little grotto next to the second camp in the Highlands. Make sure it's not sunny, otherwise Cherrim become impossible to catch.

Can't believe I waited for the post-game to do it. I can find 5 vivichokes in 5 minutes.

Haven’t got my copy of Legends yet but I did get manage to find Shining Pearl. I’m really disappointed so far. From what I can tell it looks like the idea they went with was a 1-1 remake of the original game with three dimensional graphics which incidentally makes the game look really cursed. I mean, if this is all they were going to do for Diamond and Pearl I would have preferred they just did a straight port of the original game with the original graphics.

The only real changes to Diamond and Pearl are the addition of Fairy type, the Grand Underground and adjustments to Pokeradar. Otherwise it's almost the same game that was on the DS but 3D.

Just really hoping GF doesn't drop everything good about Legends like they have with recent good titles. I still would of liked a Let's Go Johto but alas

I mean, on the one hand, many would argue that Let’s go being good is debateable… but a lot of it actually did come through to legends. Catch Pokémon in the over world often without a fight, size differences, stripping back excess mechanics, riding pokemon, bringing out your Pokémon pals with you…

The little groto? That the thing with Parasect in it?
My bad, it's the 4th area, not the 3rd. This one has a few Golduck and a static alpha Carnivine in it, right next to the second camp in the Coronet Highlands. If you're still looking in the first area, you might have to luck out with a mass outbreak.

Legends just incorporates alot of what lets go was trying to do while not feeling like a shitty mobile port, I would be down for a legends johto focusing on celebi though
