It's so weird to see since you never see them get near to the ground like that. Knew their little appendages move individually, but never thought they could conceivably stand.
Every time I hear about the game, People spurt the dev team apparently knew next to nothing about pokemon. But if anything I rather game freak also knew next to nothing if that means more quality like this.

Those people that didn't know anything about Pokemon only created the models for the ! and ? Unown and the Gen III Pokemon. The Gen I and II models used in that game are just slightly polished models from the N64 titles, which were made by HAL Laboratory, which has people who knew stuff about Pokemon because many of their higher-ups, mostly Iwata, helped with the mainline games previously

So in other words. HAL Laboratory puts more love into pokemon games then current Gamefreak does.

You always know such specific and intricate little details about this stuff, it's really interesting.

It's probably the videogame series I am most knowledgeable about. Oftentimes the behind-the-scenes details on the franchise can be really fascinating, especially considering that the franchise itself was a short ways away from never coming out during the development of Red and Green(Almost lost all of their data once, six years of development hell, no one close to the team having confidence in them making a game for a 7-year old handheld system that was at it's lowest point popularity-wise, one third of the staff of Game Freak resigning, ect)

Funnily enough, it actually isn't my favorite game series. I can't really consider any of the games mind-blowingly good, but it's like a comfort food of sorts, something familiar and predictable in many ways, and has many addicting qualities to it that make it possible for me to even replay my least favorite titles in the mainline series without feeling like I'm torturing myself.

I haven't played Pokemon Go since it's release and I picked it up and am having a lot of fun with it because of one reason - I am using PGsharp to spoof. I briefly tried the primitive cheats in 2016, namely the sites that mapped the locations of pokemon nearby, but those got neutered pretty fast back then. It was only recently when I was ruminating on the sad fact Pokemon Go is probably going to end up with the most complete Pokedex that I thought to see how the spoofing scene had changed in 6 years.

I am shocked at how powerful the free version of PGsharp is, without paying at all you can basically play as if you were a millionaire with the time and money to go anywhere as well as add in many quality of life features that the game should probably have on it's own. The advantage of being able to go to heavily populated areas like NY just shows that anyone outside of major population areas are just getting screwed in terms of how much more there is there. I am curious to see how long (or how possible) it is to fill out the pokedex... at least the BS regional exclusives are no issue with spoofing.

I have been on the fence about what to do about my gens 1-7 living dex since if I wanted to bring it up to Pokemon Home I would have to pay their highway robbery fee for that shitty service since I cannot keep them all on a save file (gee, I wonder if there is any correlation between those two things...) but if it is possible to catch almost everything in those generations in Go which can transfer to Home, I might just keep all my years of progress on the Pokemon Sun cartridge...

I've had a pretty similar experience with this; my friends that are most into PGo live a few thousand miles away from me, so I've always been dissuaded from playing it for years. I realized a month ago that I could spoof with PGsharp and I've had a pretty fun time playing PGo when I'm bored and have nothing else immediately interesting me on my phone. Going out of my way to do things that apparently piss off some dude (whom is a total asshole) in my friends' community is super entertaining even if it's not productive.

I got back into playing Pokemon after having been out of it since ~2019 a few months ago, and I transferred my Living Dex and everything else to Home, whilst not actually losing it from my save on Ultra Moon via save backups on a hacked 3DS. I'm not too offended at the cost of Home (especially since I get Switch Online free from a friend's family plan) so I'm happy with having all the possible Pokemon I want available to use in Sw/Sh, PLA, or upcoming Scarlet/Violet.

The more I see of the new game the more I hate it and yet I'll buy it because I'm a little whore who doesn't know better

I finished the pokedex in legends arceus and I am now wondering how do you shiny hunt? I remember hearing something about going for mass outbreaks, saving, catch everything and reload if there is no shiny but that got patched out and massive outbreaks were added anyways.

As far as the Shiny hunting method you're thinking of it's probably this one.

It's been patched out via altering the way outbreaks are loaded when close and reopen the game, the game now loads a completely different set of outbreaks (or doesn't load any) instead of remembering the original outbreak you saved at.

As far as Shiny hunting now? I just select any outbreak, single or massive, and just plow through 'em. I'll mow down single mass outbreaks until the species stops spawning while Massive mass outbreaks will largely depend on what spawns, if a Pokémon species I'm interested in getting the Shiny form of pops up it becomes a must-hit on my list with starred spawns and Agauv Berry-dropping taking also taking up slots.

So with the initial Pokedex leak seemingly being legit, I'm looking over what else is on it. I always thought there should be a flamingo & dolphin Pokémon. Also like that Dunsparce & Girafarig are getting evolutions, but apparently Girafarig's evolution drops the duel Normal type to just be a pure psychic type. Finally I'm trying to figure out what the hell the three stage Fairy/Steel pink hammer Pokémon is going to be.

New trailer's out, it's 14 minutes long.
I like how Girafarig's evolution keeps the gimmick with its name.

Edit: just went on the site and saw what its abilites are:

The first one is a delayed Berry Pouch and the other is basically Queenly Majesty.
