It’s pretty obnoxious. If played properly there is no way to stop a well-built Baton Pass team without resorting to gimmicks like Prankster Haze Murkrow because there are so many ways to block the moves that are supposed to counter stat boosts.I've never really played Pokemon after second gen and never competitively, but I follow a YouTube channel talking about the competitive side out of curiosity, this week it uploaded a video about Baton Pass, and how it was banned.

So was it really that bad? The language used makes it sound like it's a lot of whiny players not wanting to accept a playstyle using a different set of 10 Mons instead of the canon 10 Mons, and necessatating having specific moves rather than the usual necessary moves.
Ursaluna is weird because it is an item evolution, but the rest of the Hisuian Pokemon I understand being transfer only. I'm mainly interested in trying out Eviolite Ursaring, but I'm happy I'll be able to transfer my Legends MVP. Also lol at Blastoise and Venusaur not making it in at all. I expected them to keep starter sets together but I guess Charizard fan service trumps that. I also appreciate that most pseudos are in the base game this time but my boys Kommo-o and Metagross got cheated.View attachment 3726262
Here's a presumable list of all of the returning Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet, per the leakers, in visualized form, sorted by Generation. The bottom row of Pokémon can only be obtained by transferring them to S/V from HOME. The Heracross and Salazzle lines are not in this picture, but are presumably also returning as well.
Leakers have also said that the Hisuian evolutions, i.e. Ursaluna and Sneasler, can only be obtained by transferring them from HOME.

This a riddle that appears to be about the 3rd Legendary in S/V.
This thing is an abomination and I hate it with every fiber of my being. It's a facsimile of a fat children's mascot with faux eyes in the middle of its head to make it appear less threatening to children while its souless gaze watch from the sides of its head.Meet Bellibolt! This Electric-type frog is Iono’s favorite and it really is quite cute.

I thought the eyes were the other way around, the big ones on the sides are fake and the little ones in the middle are the real ones. This thing is an abomination and I hate it with every fiber of my being. I need to play this game now for the sole purpose of murdering this THING.
It even has a signature ability:Meet Bellibolt! This Electric-type frog is Iono’s favorite and it really is quite cute.

They are. In the gameplay reveal, it zooms in to show the little yellow eyes on its face blinking.I thought the eyes were the other way around, the big ones on the sides are fake and the little ones in the middle are the real ones.
So they gave the V-Tuber a shit Pokemon that legitimately looks like a knock off. Fitting. This thing and Klawf are the two so far that give me "that's not a Pokemon" vibes. Klawf looks like Generic Fantasy Crab #468, and this thing looks like it comes from a romhack. Ceruledge and Armorouge feel a bit out of place, but with Pokemon like Gallade and Bisharp, they don't feel that odd. I would of much rather they made their designs more akin to the Aegislash line, being living scared objects rather than a humanoid ghost wearing said objects, though.Meet Bellibolt! This Electric-type frog is Iono’s favorite and it really is quite cute.

Arceus released, people liked it. But then only a few months later, we got the Scarlet and Violet reveal trailers. There’s been a slow flow of information from Nintendo, but most of what we know is from leaks.Anyone able to resume what has happened since I last visited the thread after SW/SHwas released but before Arceus was released?
Don't forget that, according to the leaks, this pikaclone can actually evolve. It would be a breath of fresh air considering the last pikaclone to have done that was Azurmarill from gen 2.I think the Pikaclone this time around looks slightly more appealing than Morpeko (I fucking hate that thing and the idea it has a "Hangry" mode), but Jesus H Christ am I sick of Pikaclones. You had two in Gen 3, you can skip a generation and still have as many Pikaclones as gens, and if you absolutely have to make a Pikaclone, be creative with it like you did with Mimikyu. Or better yet, just give Pikachu a new regional variant, why make a bunch of fake Pikachu's when having a Pikachu of different types would probably sell way more merch?
It doesn't even look like a Pokemon, Digimon, or even a Neopet.Official artwork of pudge frog.

You say this like it’s a bad thing, and it might be if the original Pokémon artstyle weren’t basically the same as Dragon Ball.It deadass looks like something out of Dragon Quest. It even looks like Akira Toriyama fucking drew it himself.
