It's times like this there was a way to mark posts as totally hilarious.

Oddly enough, I can't seem to find any mentions of "John Gamefreak" (the one who dumped the whole game to the wild) within the document. Interesting...

P.S. The "John Gamefreak" who made the dump uses the tripcode "!!I79skK01loK" when he posted the leaked ROM.

I'm caught in a pickle here, on one hand I hate people who leak for attention, comes off as the most self aggrandizing thing out there. However, the legal documents come off as the most ridiculous shit I have read outside of maddox or weeb wars and comes off as TPCi trying to damage control weeks after the fact. So I guess I'm on the leakers side since the complaint comes off as asinine.

Personally, I think we should just have a difficulty setting. Easy, Normal, Hard, and Champion. Easy can be the setting we currently have now. Normal being trainers using items, good movesets, and good 'mons that are the same level as yours. Hard would be trainers use full teams with Smogon-tier movesets, items, strategies, and high-power, high-level 'mons (obviously excluding legendaries). Champion is the same as Hard only you don't get free switch-ins, you can't use items in battle, and your opponents' 'mons would have perfect stats/natures/EVs, etc.

This way everyone gets what they want. Noobs and casuals can still enjoy the game at their own pace, and veterans can have their fun without making the game ridiculously difficult for everyone else.
That would actually require GF to be good at their jobs, for once.

I still remember how that Wolfen fag got a little power-boner over teasing people about his leaks, then he got found out because literally all his social medias linked back to his identity. Faggots get whats coming to them.

tl;dr TPC is pissed the leakers exposed how severe Dexit really was to the Japanese crowd ahead of time (it bears repeating that they never got a single official statement over there that Dexit was happening at all) when they were just about to complete the pre-release cycle without telling them a goddamn thing. I think leaking is skivvy business as much as the next guy, but in this case I'm willing to make an exception due to the just desserts served to a company trying to pull the wool over their own homeland's eyes.

It'd be pretty sad if it turned out the leakers were just some random kids that were salty that Stantler got cut and so decided to leak stuff just to get back at TPC. I can't say I feel too bad for them, though. Leaking just for attention is a pretty faggot thing to do. Unless they got their pictures from a store that released the game or guide early, then they're gonna get fucked by Yellow Mickey Mouse.

They created this beast when they refused to show hardly anything. People were desperate for answers, even more so than they normally would be and it's one of the biggest franchise in the world. They aren't unique to this issue either, I don't know how wide spread the leaks got but I do know that it wasn't on the Snape Kills Dumbledore scale (meaning people couldn't just shout spoilers and shit) and people could ignore them as others put them under spoilers. I'm imagining someone printing out the pics of the pokemon, putting them on a cardboard sign and parading them through the midnight releases at Gamestop lmfao. I don't think they'll realistically catch them, but I hope if any of them are caught it's the one who posted those obnoxiously blurry photos.

/ss/ wasnt a special case. almost every single game since s&m got leaked to fuck from as long as a week ahead of release. Its been a consistent problem regardless of how much they showed. The only difference is that these leaks by far spread faster and farther then previous ones. I do remember that nintendo did catch the lgpe leaker and fucking killed him iirc. Doubt it will happen here though.

Fuck I meant to mention that but forgot, I specifically remember the time that the (extra) Vivillon's, Diancie, Hoopa and shit leaked. I know it wasn't exclusive to this generation, but at the point I'd seen those I'd had enough to make me interested in the game. I'd seen too much, but I'd seen it. There's really no way to keep people quiet and as it grows in popularity it'll keep getting harder and harder to keep under wraps. I mean that 4chan leak was correct about everything, then the multiple leakers that got a copy of the games/book (even if they were shit pictures). I just hope they learn from this, if they don't learn from anything else, is to go middle of the road for showing the pokemon: Not too many but not too few either.

Considering Mumkey saw Liu as an upgrade from Sheepover, not sure how much I trust him on quality
I don't know why they're even doing this, i doubt the leaks affected the sales, hell, probably SwSh will be the best selling Switch games this Christmas, Nintendo seems to be doing this just because they can
I don't get why they are not going after the streamer instead tbh.

To be honest, I'd be more interested in finding the stores that sold the games, since they're the ones who broke the actual deals that they had with gamefreak. Those are the ones who actually did something illegal by breaking contracts that they had with nintendo and the PKM company and such.

And greedy. Like Jesus dood, did you see how many ads are on those vids? SIX EACH ON THE FIRST TWO.

God damn, I'm glad adblocker exists for these kinds of content creators who make the most mindless drivel of content - Cause, here's my stance with Adblock, and it's I'll watch a video once, see if it's good, if it is, I'll turn off adblock and refresh the page, and let the video play in full while I do something else. But when there's that many ads?

Yeah, no.

Alright, I am done playing Pokemon SW/SH permanently. Here are a couple more comments and thoughts:

* The battle tower is easy. Didn't need to do much to complete all of it. You can use any legendary so go wild.

* As said before, the music choice is awful. Clown and dark souls music in one game makes a terrible combo.

* The story's progression is fast and unnatural. You are in your house to the last gym within 7 hours. As for comparison, it usually takes 7 hours to complete three gym leaders in platinum.

* Post-game revolves around chasing after dudes with gay haircuts. It is bad.

In my opinion, I would say that this is on the levels with X and Y when comparing it to other Pokemon games. Sw/Sh has the same awkward dialogue as them had and throws you into situations with no purpose whatsoever besides "we need to give you this item". Items like getting the bike in sw/sh just don't fit in with the situation you are in, making the pacing super doggo fast.

I like that GF allowed Pokemon raid battles. I think it's a new concept that allows players to battle together and get some awesome rewards. They just need to make the wi-fi component actually "work". Also, for all you gamers out there currently playing just for the battle raids, there is an exploit right now that allows you to get infinite raid spawns from one den. As well, you can get infinite watts. You can break the game's currency by buying max luxury balls and selling them for a small loan of a million dollars.

overall, 6/10. Had some fun moments, but needs improvement.

Good thing there’s not an economy attached to it.
