Sorry, what the fuck does """designs made for boys""" mean.
I can find designs I prefer/can admit are cute/cool in all gens except the latest. I'm not a massive fan of gen 7 onwards but I can find charm points about all but the water starter from gen 7, the water starter from gen 8, Sprigattito is the only acceptable starter of all three in gen 9 because the other two don't look like pokemon at all. Gen 10 has no redeeming starter and I will bet money that all three will have at least one furry/pokephile bait evolution.
I will readily admit I'm a genwunner because no full starter line can surpass the original trio. Bulbasaur is just a lil' guy who evolves into a bigger lil' guy, Squirtle line my GOAT and Charmander line is a classic.

By law of equivalent exchange, Scarlet and Violet selling 10 million copies in 3 days despite being the lowest quality game in the fucking franchise means that Winds and Waves is going to be the worst selling game in series history despite being the best looking one in years.

Are we counting final evos or just the base forms? Because the base forms are all small and cute and appeal to little kids regardless of gender, while the final evos are almost all meant to be tough and cool, which I suppose appeals more to men but given that Pokemon players are 40% female I don't think it's driving that many women away.

In theory, people should naturally age out of the things they enjoyed as children, but in practice they tend to grow with them. You see a similar thing happening with Disney, who's watching latest shitfest in theaters? It's not the kids, it's the people who were kids when Disney was good.

Kids don't want to play their parents' vidya, they want to play their own games, and unfortunately their games happen to be predatory shitpiles like Fortnite, Roblox, and freemium mobile crap.

There’s a lot of shitlennials who don’t just misremember or are dishonest about the way things were, but are also so out of touch with the reality of what’s going on now. Things are different now and there’s way more of a selection of games for kids to get into, especially when there are games they can play for free or are cheaper. It’s funny because it’s the same people who’ll say they’ve been fans since 1996.

Starters for Pokémon Winds and Waves

Got very Gen 3 vibes with all the water and seemed like they had a lot of representation in the wild Pokémon shown off.

They look like baby bath time squirt toys, were they just designed to be easy to injection mold for toys?
I think the last designs I thought were okay were these, and it's insane that out of what, around a hundred pokemon in the Paldea dex, they couldn't manage more than 3?

One of the things I noticed in today's presents video is that the 30th Anniversary Pokémon TCG will apparently see a simultaneous release across the game's territories rather than a delayed release. Too bad its only for this set and delayed releases will continue to be the norm.

It appears that you can get the Aurora Ticket and the Mystic Ticket items in the Switch releases of FRLG, you just have to beat the game.

No word yet on if other fixes were made other than that, a lot of people are hoping that the Altering Cave and the Runner glitches are finally addressed after all these years.

EDIT: More stuff has been datamined regarding the Switch releases.

i don't really get the hatred towards palworld, i just see it as another alternative with some potential yet a bunch of flaws, i don't really see it as competitor, the fact that people are trying to use this game as a comparison, it's almost like comparing a Pomeranian to an Elkdog, ones got better genetics while the other has shabby genetics and in this sense game freak is basically the elkdog since it has better genetics which is wordplay, for a bigger company backing it up while pocketpair is a small company with sony only backing it up in the entertainment department basically a underdog effect.

Yeah, i didn't really expect it to be that bad, cause i didn't really have low expectations at the time of its initial release since i played it on my friends switch and since i was mostly a late bloomer for quality, the only games that i actually enjoyed that were pokemon related were picross, gold, X/Y, sun/moon, Sword and shield, pokemon snap 1 and 2, but it went downhill after S/V and release Legends arcues i couldn't really take modern pokemon seriously anymore after that.

Which is kinda weird because the last couple sets and the next few Zygard and Ninja Spinner and small as fuck and exact copies of the Jap sets in cards like even the next set after Ninja Spinner. Ass Hero is somewhat of an exception because it includes Mega Dream and the Starter packs which were mostly reprint cards anyway and was our Special set of the year.

I guess smaller sets does = better pull rates though and easier to chase. I'm only getting a few packs of the Zygard set but gonna hit ninja spinner up harder to try get a Greninja.
