There's that. Too bad I already used up those 'bators already. Just don't have the nerve to buy any at all so I'm stuck with the one they gave you from the get-go. Maybe when I manage to get to Level 25, they'll be a little nice to me!

I was just glad when 2nd Gen hit, it just happen to hit when the weather got perfect here in the Ohio Valley. It can be pretty tough to keep at it when it's below the freezing point outside. I tried to maintain gyms but obviously the little whipper snappers always kick my Pokeass out quickly!
Ah yeah I've used up all mine too unfortunately, surprisingly I haven't gotten a baby pokemon yet

But very true ^^ Ohio's weather has been a surprise - well it's always a surprise because it can be 20 degrees one second and then 60 another second lmao, sorry about your gym situation though gyms always seem to come and go within minutes but lately they've been becoming bigger and stronger than what they were in the beginning

I'm just glad I haven't had to be nagged about shoveling the walk! Though I'm certain we'll be back to that next week.

Yeah, there's always a Level 30 or beyond who takes the top seat. I suppose I could go back to Ingress, but I haven't really done much with that or participated in their events.

If items aren't popping up if they're supposed to, then this is most likely a bug that should be reported to niantic to be fixed.

Finally scrounged enough Eevee candy to evolve an Espeon - the naming system from the previous eons work so Sakura for Espeon, Tamao for Umbreon (Sakura gave me an Espeon but it's the first one I've tried so might not be 100%).

Also, critical captures seem to be a thing. I caught something today and instead of doing the three shake then three star thing, it shook once then spat out about six stars. I was 90% sure I was tripping until I googled it.

That is correct. My dad and I tried that and it worked perfectly.

Btw, since they added new berries, I'm gonna bet that they'll add new poke balls in the future. Here's some that could work in the game.

Nest ball - more effective on lower level Pokémon.
Dusk ball - not very effective during the day, but very effective catch rate during the night.
Net ball - more effective catch rate when used on water and bug types
Heavy ball - more effective catch rate on heavy Pokémon like onix and snorlax.
And the repeat ball - better catch rate depends by on how many Pokémon you have in storage to the Pokémon your trying to catch. (Ex. You have 10 pikachus in storage and catching a wild pikachu with a repeat ball will be very effective)

Took down a filthy Instinct gym alone, and under-CP'd in comparison to it (the lowest in the gym was 1.8k, my highest is 1.8k). That was pretty fun as I normally don't have the time in town to stop and attack a gym, let alone take down a level seven one by myself.

Also a Chikorita was near my house but didn't spawn, the shit :(

I lucked out and came across a Cyndaquil at around 500CP. Now to walk around a long ass time with it as my buddy.

I didn't know people were playing this again, I should check out the updates once I get my phone back on some form of service.

Hey look. I caught a @Dunsparce

Caught a 1.1k Skamory from my pc chair at 1am, and a Totodile (420 CP bruh) from the coffee shop this morning. Sweet little haul if I do say so myself

There's a new event going on. The water festival

Water types like totadile, poliwag, squirtle, and romoraid are popping up everywhere. Mostly magikarps. Perfect opportunity to get
Gyarados.

Oh and shiny magikarps are appearing too. Happy hunting!

The event ends on March 29th

For some reason, Cyndaquils keep spawning near my house every day. Needless to say, my Typhlosion is going to be one bombass motherfucker.

Been finding quite a lot of Staryus and Slowpokes in my area this week.

I've been very happy with all the Totodiles I'm finding, it's one of my favorite starters. Some folks have been having a really good time finding Lapras right not but I've yet to see one.
My Pokedex is at 191 right now, I've got nearly all of the Gen 1 Pokemon with exception of the region locked ones.

There's a new event starting tonight. The Easter event.

You'll be able to get a chance to hatch rare Pokémon from standard 2 kilometer eggs.

Double Xp returns

I also heared that rare and hard to find Pokémon like Lapras , snorlax, and Chansey will spawn more frequently.

Happy Hunting!

The event ends April 20th

Damn, I still haven't incubated any (and I only have 5Km eggs). *sigh*

Why Sakura and Tamao?

Why Sakura and Tamao?
Remember the Eeveelution siblings from Gen 2? (I can't remember if it was the games specifically, or just the anime). Sakura was the sister who used an Espeon and Tamao was the sister who used an Umbreon. It worked both times the first time but all the Eevees I've evolved since (nicknamed or non) keep turning into fucking Jolteons >:V
