If you're anything like me, you were the person computer illiterate (read:lazy) normies came to to do their piracy for them, and you wound up with a vast and extremely eclectic library as a result. I still have 128kbs Bette Midler and Celine Dion in my library I snagged decades ago for my aunt, ffs.
Have you been keeping up with this thread? I'm the tech illiterate one.

Your help was greatly appreciated
No problem.
... 1000 Ways To Die, ... "um ackshually you can buy episodes on [site]". For one thing, none of those sources had all of the episodes. ...
I hate that shit so much. All the episodes, I hope, are here if you want to check.

And I meant no disrespect to you to you specifically
I know. We're good. Probably came off wrong way putting username at the end

Dude, just use filebot. ... automated ... ++ ... sonar, ...
When did Filebot get automation? Thought it was rename and extract only. At least the one by rednoah was.

The 35-Year Promise
See if this is it here or here

Idk if I'd call it automation.
But if you are using arrs you've got automation.
But for the stuff you may need to rename by hand, file bot is amazing.
On some rare occasions, matching might be a bit finnicky. You can fiddle with the settings then, or worst case just rename every episode to S0XE0X and then use that to force it to whatever the folder's name is.

Thanks!
I'll have to make sure I got them all.
I will often skip google for duck duck go just so I don' get retarded dumb ai messages at the top telling me how I'm a bad person for pirating.
Fuck you. Maybe give me a streaming service that won't get rid of the show I watch to watch in 6 months.
I've given enough money to companies in my lifetime. Yall can earn your money now.

If you are using a browser that supports uBlock Origin you can put this into the 'my filters' tab and it should block the AI Overview in google searches:

google.com##.hdzaWe

Has worked for me for quite a while now.

I am ashamed to say I do use these sometimes for quick info, and they're easy enough to ignore.
But good to know!

Anyone remember those old mp3 players? You could hear their micro HDDs spin if you put your ear to them. I had to flash mine with US firmware because the EU version had a hard volume cap that made some songs too quiet.

I was so excited when I found out my MP3 player had a built-in USB dongle(?). I could just stick that sucker into my PC, no cables required. This was during my obsession with leaked/unreleased songs.
I just found someone more technically illiterate than me. I am both relieved and pissed.

I had a big-ass one when I was a youngun. Had a separate little dongle for the screen/controls and the main unit was massive; around the size of an average smartphone but thicker. People who saw it thought I was a lunatic but little did they know, I was already pirating over 9000 niggabytes of music so I NEEDED that storage space.

That sounds kinda funny. There's an old point and click adventure game called Nightlong where they have fax machines in public like phones. Your story reminds me of this a little bit because it's already getting hard to imagine someone with JUST an mp3 player of that size and weight.

We've come a long way. I have a video clip from my Nokia 6300 that's... get this: 176x144px at bitrate of 63kbps and variable framerate of 2-17 (sic) fps. Atrocious doesn't begin to describe it. Now I can shoot pretty decent video with just a phone, a gimbal and a Zoom recorder.

Anything but the iPod sucks. CD players are cool, though.

Anything but the iPod sucks
You're entitled to your wrong opinion.

Sure, there were some utterly shithouse MP3 players. However there were plenty that shat all over their iPod counterparts. The various iRiver players come to mind, and you would have needed to be on crack to buy a Shuffle when you could get the far superior SanDisk Sansa Clip series for similar money. Unless of course the lack of screen, SD card slot and FLAC support somehow made the Shuffle a better music player than the Sansa.

That, and iTunes was fucking awful to use. Constant crashes and general user violence. It made Windows Media Player (which was a complete abortion) look good.
CD players are cool, though.
Of course you're entitled to your correct opinion too.

>speaking in past tense
Literally listening to my iPod as of writing. How are your Zunes, iRivers and SanDisk players doing?
I speak in the past tense because I only stopped hating it when my aunt and uncle gifted me a Spotify subscription for my birthday. Until a couple years ago, they were still paying for that. I'll confess to still having a Spotify account. I spent 5 years building a paylist for the lobby at my old hotel after their music subscription was cancelled due to the pandemic. That playlist of 10,000 songs (the max allowed by Spotify) holds sentimental value and I hope to use it again in the future. I only ever use my iPod with Spotify.
