The age/2+7 rule isn't perfect but it's a pretty good metric that for the most part matches up with people's intuitions. A 20 year old guy with a 15 year old girl is kinda creepy, but the absolute age difference isn't so much that I can't see it working out, and if they manage to make it work a couple years, then as they get older the creepiness factor starts to drop off.
