I now wish the best of success to the Reign of Terror clan in there continued efforts to piss off the tranny playerbase. I hope they cheat and bot their way into ruining the game until they have driven off every non-chud player. Whenever I hear of yet another PVP event where RoT has cheated and won a cash prize, I am going to cheer them on.

/v/scape is the best one. it's extremely complete quest/skill wise, even has god wars.
There's holiday events every year and regular updates, all kept fairly close to vanilla 2007, except for some stuff like ironman mode and global chat.

The browser version uses the mobile client (you can download the app and play on your phone) but it's much better to download the java version and play on that instead.

Ignoring and sidestepping polls has been an increasing trend in OSRS lately. I remember they tried to poll a new sword for the wilderness which failed multiple times so they completely sidestepped the polls by shoving it into the game anyway. Given enough time the polls will be retired by Jagex

Tae be fair, any public relations will likely be following this example, admining a particular site that teens flocked tae, Think 2010s, one of the things that popped up was folk moaning that there was nae a gender change/pronoun and that type of nonsense. It's an easy politic win, go against it and they call ya a hateful cunt, go wi' it, ya avoid the headache. No saying it's good, but it's no surprising either. All of the profanity censoring started after the George Floyd thing happened. What the fuck does a real life event like that have to do with a medieval point and click MMO? All the fun times I had in the Zezima clan chat spamming gamer with the boys, words ruined because the gay devs wanted to virtue signal, when nobody had even accused them of being racist. It’s all so tiresome.
