Except that’s been debunked and Pluton is established as being a battleship deep in the heart of Wano. All Franky did was just burn the blueprints .

I always forget about that. I think I blocked it from memory through sheer force of autism lol.
That still doesn’t preclude the Sunny from having Pluton elements. Honestly, a ship-to-ship battle would be fucking awesome, considering it’s an element of this manga about pirates that never really comes up. It would be a great precursor to show off Nami, Jinbei, and Usopp’s relative skill sets before a direct clash involving Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji.

It’s possible, but I think something like that would have been set up by this point considering Oda is probably trying to start wrapping things up and get everything ready for the grand finale, albeit at his own pace (didn’t Oda say his predictions of how far from the ending the manga is are pretty much meaningless?).

What do we know about Pluton? That it’s a ship that’s capable of massive destruction where one shot at a target and then no more anything? It’s times like these I just put in some placeholder about unanswered questions so as to not get frustrated over Oda being deliberate with not going into detail about things, even in this “final saga”.

So I take it all the WWII boards and Roman history boards have been censored as well.
Please just take me back to the days of CoD: World at War where you’d at least be guaranteed to see a Nazi Germany with actual swastikas.

At least Oda hasn’t taken anything from Dee fuhrer’s reign to shape his world. Right?

Thankfully, half the messages are from foreigners being like, "Why are americans so fucking gay? Shut the fuck up about politics."
While objectively the act of trying to stop using things that benefit people you don't like is a good thing that shows you have standards the issue comes from when you try to impose said stoppage onto a global forum. Using characters as examples why fans of the text shouldnt use twitter is also really pathetic.

Lol. Reddit's insane rules presents an opportunity to post plain text fake tweets to mislead its users. Who's gonna debunk you when they can't post links or screenshots? X is ran by neo-Nazis anyway so who's going to bother to check?

As per the official One Piece Twitter account: "One Piece will be taking a month long break. See you all in March!"

The irony is that even after the ban, all the news on the front page comes from twitter. They're just linking to a non-Twitter intermediary who is citing Twitter.

Honestly, the biggest surprise from this is that Hajrudin is Loki's half-brother.

EDIT: Oh derp, it was mentioned back in 1130, but I overlooked it thinking they were just talking about Loki.

Wait so Elbaf isn't the only island of Giants? That is interesting to say the least
Saul said he's from the South Blue, and thus not an Elbaf giant. This suggests that many giants have left the motherland over the years and established homes elsewhere, but they may-or-may-not have taken the Elbaf culture with them.

I consider it a given that Franky memorized those plans and added some of it's spice into the sunny. The Sunny radical beam is pretty damn savage for example, so I could see that being a very much powered down version of what Pluton's main cannon could achieve.

As for the chapter itself so finally we know that Shamrock ain't Shanks, so horay for that, doesn't mean he ain't a clone though! ALL CLONES OF GARLING! Aside from that, not really much going on this chapter outside of some giant lore and Loki getting his shit kicked in. Thing that got my almonds roasting was the old king reminding me a lot of Kaido once you kind of add the horns on top. So maybe Kaido is a half breed from pure giants? Don't remember if this was revealed somewhere and I'm just rediscovering fire here.

Gunko seems like she has a fun set of powers, hope she doesn't do the standard "I'm a cute girl and therefore cannot be evil!" that most ladies do in OP and that she's just a bitch like Monet. Definitely seems like she's too much to handle for Nami and I'm not betting that much on Robin either on a one on one, so maybe one of the boys gets to slap a bitch, ideally Luffy who has zero qualms about beating the shit out of chicks unlike his wings.

Also, once they meet up with the duo, I expect Luffy to not be fooled for more than a second, I really want to see his "instincts" kick into high gear like they did with Teach and see him as an instant threat.

>Loki once again proves that he is the good guy of the arc

It’s going to turn out that his father was getting Saruman whispering in his ear and that Loki acted as a true king and put down the giants that were importing fentanyl before kneeling on his fathers neck.

Interesting. Sounds like Oda's taking advantage of the Netflix deal to do One Piece Lego sets without committing to anything long term.
There's just basic details so far
75636 TBC$29.99301August 2025
76537 TBC$49.99573August 2025
75638 TBC$79.99926August 2025
75639 TBC$129.991,376August 2025
75640 TBC$299.993,402August 2025
Looking at the piece numbers and thinking about what we've had I'm guessing

Luffy's original boat (him, Cody as figures)
Buggy's clown tent (Buggy, Zoro figs)
Going Merry or Baratie as either the third or fourth sets with whichever isn't one as the other (Sanji in Baratie, Usopp in the Merry)
Arlong Park (Nami, Arlong and other fishmen. I suspect Genzo might be in just for his hat)

Is this the one about his quest to get the sword he carries?
Nah, this is the first book where the story starts right after Corazon dead and he meets Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin (per the SBS). This other one (The Hour of Kikoku) is still coming out chapter by chapter. And probably will never seen english release until 2030.

Slightly related, I have been seeing a lot of social media posts that are like "Oh, One Piece is political and Luffy wouldn't like Trump and right wingers don't understand that they're like the WG and not like the straw hats! Trump is like a celestial dragon!"

Yes, One Piece has political themes. Anyone with a brain can see that. I am tired of these western left wing fucks shitting up everything I love with their preachy bullshit and their obsession with Trump.

Complaint aside, Whole Cake Island is pretty good so far. The pacing seems better than Dressrosa's but I still have ways to go.
