But in retrospect of Luffy being a Rubber-Hose man...Him being super weak to hypnotism is either something that is really great foreshadowing..or Oda is really good at just accidently putting shit in that fits later.
 
I hate with a fiery passion the actor they got for Sanji. I get that he says French things in his attacks and his a cook but why does he have to have a gay accent. Makes him come off as a complete cock instead of a bad ass man whore.

Edit: Fuck I’ve watched it again and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d rather him sound like Trunks than listen to my favorite character with a gay accent.

I just had Vietnam style flash backs, so thanks for that lol. Also hey I’ll give Netflix this, at least their Sanji doesn’t sound like his got toilet paper up his nose.

it’s kinda crazy how much better some of the 4kids voice actors were than Funimation. Like imagine how much better the dub would’ve been if these VAs got to act with a accurate script and weren't forced to do retarded accents. Like it’s not hard being better than Chris Sabat but I actually think Zoros 4kids actor fit so much better. I think even Nico Robins actress would have been good if she didn’t do that dumb southern accent.

Idk maybe my hatred of Funimation is blinding my thinking lol.
 
I’ll say that at the very least the live action people seem like they actually care about the source material.
