It is Aztec inspired fuck it I’m tripling down the One Piece is Joy Boy’s heart.

Also, Loki once again proving to be the only non-retarded giant. I’m guessing his Dad got mind controlled or something and that’s why he embraced Globohomo.
Agreed, Elbaf being absolutely fagged up on purpose is really becoming THE plot point. Loki and the little kid that isn't a bitch will be the start of making Elbaf great again!
Welp.

Oda just put to rest the "Blackbeard ate the Dog-Dog Fruit: Model Cerebeus" theory.
I liked that theory :(
You can skip 90% of Skypeia (80 chapters) and be fine.
But why? It's peak. I'm still hoping for slim shady to make a comeback.
im still on team blackbeard just has three hearts like an octopus which lets him use multiple fruits.
Wait, octopus have 3 hearts?! Mythical kraken is on the table baby! Though I just want BB in animal form flailing in pain the moment he touches water.

This is the dumbest, most gorilla-nigger-tier take that has ever existed regarding One Piece. It arose from retards unable to handle that Paradise simply wasn’t going to be revelation after revelation, simply because we learned Roger’s real name.

It’s the last arc that was purely about exploring the Grand Line without being immediately tied to another plot point, it’s a complete story with fully developed character arcs for just about every name character that isn’t Satori, and it has peak hype moments that rally haven’t been met since.

It drags on. I only read some parts for the wigger. I read mock town than ignore the angel wing nigger parts until some if the general fight with everyone and then Luffy vs Eminem ft Nami.

the mention of a promise is also interesting since joy boy did leave that poneglyph apologizing for not keeping his promise. it makes me wonder if all of this is happening because nika made a promise that he would meet someone again and never did
Calling it. It was Imu. Cause Imu seems inhuman. And Imu has spent god knows how long waiting and getting increasingly mad and bitter.

Yes, I think Imu is doing everything out of pure goddam spite.

I think there was Nika and something else and they’ve been trying to meet and things have gone incredibly wrong. Multiple times.

I am also now even more convinced that Imu was Joy Boy and picked wrong.

It wouldn’t be the first time a hero has saved everyone and then vanished and their story was told by someone else and it wasn’t the exact truth

Nice chapter.
Looking at the mural I can see the ark from Skypeia in the middle right with Imu below it. Weirdly Imu seems to have oars?
Below there is another ark and looking at the contents of the ark we're going with a Noah metaphor for the people from those lands, particularly interesting when you consider they will be protected from the incoming floods.

Left hand side has, that I can identify easily, united in the conflict;
Nika
Minks
Dwarves
The ancient robot from Egghead
Skypeians
People from Wano
Lunarians
Giants
Merpeople

Retard takes on Oda's fresh lore dump:

The God of the Sun: Clearly Nika/JoyBoy/Luffy
The God of the Earth: Imu?
The God of the Sea: Ancient Sea King?
The God of the Forest: Creator/Source of the Devil Fruits?

Honestly, I’m spending a lot of time focusing on the mural. Probably more time than I should.

This is the one that’s been the biggest head scratcher for me, but I think I have something:
“The Great/Ancient kingdom had adversaries when they were a thing. Said foe(s) would turn out to be a rebel faction in the kingdom, or a precursor to the Celestial Dragons. Or those two things combined. “Touching the forbidden Sun” meant that the ancient weapons were developed, and “fire upon the earth” meant that these weapons would be used, be it Pluton, the Lulusia destroyer, Uranus (which could be a weapon of its own, or a program headed by a J. Robert Oppenheimer type to create a way to harness the power to fuel said Lulusia destroyer, and maybe Pluton and who knows what else. Honestly, you could make an argument for either of these things.)

Nika came to answer the prayers of the slaves, be it the actual god, or somebody with the powers granted by Luffy’s Devil fruit. (Funny enough, this reminds me of the theory that The One Piece is a book, a book series, or a comic detailing Joy Boy and exploits. I don’t buy it because it’d make the poneglyphs redundant, but for right now, let’s roll with it.) this development pisses off the Earth God who brings along the Hell Serpent for reinforcements (assuming this serpent wasn’t already a part of things). The Hell Serpent was the one who had the powers of Poseidon. And the Earth god was the one called Imu. And the “death and darkness” was a result of the destruction and devastation of war…and maybe Imu having a soldier with the Yami Yami no Mi. And one of the casualties…the one with Nika powers”.

IMG_6528.jpeg

Things get simpler from here.

“The Great/Ancient Kingdom was defeated, but not destroyed. And from this kingdom was the one known as Joy Boy. And like how the Gorosei see Luffy, Imu saw Joy Boy as an agent of chaos that could destroy everything Imu had built. Word spread of Joy Boy’s adventures on the seas, and many believe that Joy Boy will end up making the kingdom return to its former glory: a colony established by the Lunarians from the Moon. And we get either a force of the kingdom, its allies, and those from the moon led by Joy Boy, or a repeat of Inpel Down and Marineford. Depends on whether or not Joy Boy is on the level of Luffy as just being a carefree idiot.

Regardless, Joy Boy is defeated, the kingdom goes away, and the World Government and The structure with the Celestial Dragons is formed. And “the sea god being enraged” was what led directly to the poneglyph with the apology letter on it.”

IMG_6530.jpeg

This one is very straightforward.

“The Void Century happens. But the World Government fails in completely snuffing out rebellion and disobedience. And then comes Luffy. He’s a simple minded man, but with his devil fruit powers, he does a repeat of his campaign to rescue Ace, only this time he’s in Gear 5 and recognized as the Sun God Nika and Joy Boy 2.0 (depending on which one the specific character focuses on). The result, when Luffy goes to Marineford, it’ll be like Avengers: Endgame where every one of Luffy’s friends and allies shows up to fight all of his adversaries, and all the beefs will be settled once and for all. And finally when Luffy meets Imu, we see Imu’s face at long last. The battle between the two puts everything before it to shame (IIRC Oda said he wanted to do as much), and in this battle, we get backstory and explanations for many things that Oda had avoided going into at to this point, and in the end, Imu is vanquished, and the new Dawn/Dawn of the world happens as Luffy finally realizes his position as The Sun God Nika, which leads to him realizing his true dream, along with revealing the name of the Ancient/Great Kingdom and what the D. In Monkey D. Luffy is: Dawn. (Or something similar, whether in English or Japanese).

In the grand scheme, it’s revealed that The One Piece is one of two things:
-a power to surpass devil fruits, to surpass Metal Gear, which counters the treasure of Mary Goeise (that treasure being the way Imu is able to do things like Kill Saturn telepathically and transform into the entity that killed Cobra, which can be shared amongst others in exchange for total loyalty and obedience to Imu, which means the Gorosei can teleport and transform)
-some kind of weapons or regalia from the Great/Ancient kingdom, which includes weapon/equipment upgrades for those without devil fruits, and for those with devil fruits, the techniques/methods needed to upgrade their skills to the same level as Gear 5 Luffy. And considering Lili’s letter said to “bear the flag of the dawn against the world”, there’s something to establish those with it as hailing from the Great/Ancient Kingdom, which makes the World Government shit bricks (except for Imu, who only reacts to the sight with a feeling that be best described as The Rock’s “Just Bring It” and prepares to fight Luffy and end the conflict with Joy Boy once and for all And Luffy’s journey to face Imu and the World Government in the final war is drawn in a way where you can put some kind of hype package track over it because why not.)

Also, “guiding the world to its end” just means that everything changes. Such as Celestial Dragons losing their privileges

Off topic, but I was reminded of Gohdroger and the massive talk of OP’s conclusion. There’s a massive document out there and there’s A Twitter account where all the parts of said theory are, which hasn’t been updated since June of 2024 probably because This user had fucked all the way off.

How long do you give it before Oda makes ALL of this virtually meaningless, just to keep things from being solved too early?

You forgot LABOOOOOOOOOON!

Oda's mural is the manga equivalent of the hangar fight in Captain America: Civil War. And I don't mind one bit.

Couple years. I assume that the fact that everyone seems to have the same ideas the everyone is widely off base.

Though it does seem likely that Imu controlled Zunesha. Which is funny because Momo does now. Momo a a child turned King that became a Dragon via Magical Fruit and met the sun god.

If my theory about Imu asking Joy Boy for help and then keeping the hat turns out true…

Imu looks like he is standing on a trunk. If you look at the panel.[/spoiler]
Honestly am not convinced that's an elephant shape. It looks more like it's part of a ship (like Pluton) which would be able to act as a container for the Noah.

It absolutely looks like a trunk, very oddly so. And Oda has been very, very insistent we not know what Pluton look like so…why not both? It’s an Elephant that carries Pluton

I think that Blackbeard might be part octopus fish-man. Like, his father or something. Could explain the three hearts without the need for a kraken fruit.
