Only good sect of christoid is protestant because they actually worship god and not a bunch of random “saints”. Also they don’t take marching orders from italian pedophiles.

Yeah this is one of my big objections to Catholicism; they’re infested with pedos and gay men who preach a doctrine of homophobia and sexual chastity. Even after the big expose in 1999 it keeps happening. The Vatican has scores of whores sneaking in at night to see priests, and I don’t think it’s to confess. It’s mind boggling how hypocritical Catholic leadership can be.

Catholics themselves are dumb sheeple who just want to go to Mass and have everything be the same as when they were children (right down to the perv priest the other girls warn you to avoid.) they don’t think too much about their faith and they’re hooked on icons and trinkets in a way I think is somewhat unhealthy. Also rank and file Catholics wil just bury their head in the sand when they do get wind of malfeasance in the church, I think it must be deliberate. I recall arguing with some Catholic here about whether or not priests in the Vatican are banging whores at night. When I showed him that an entire book had been written on the subject in 2005, he dismissed it saying “haven’t read that.” Ok so you’re playing dumb on purpose and act shocked when the priests dupe you??

Anyway what's the mentality of staying in a mainline church in the year of Our Lord 2023? You're Protestant. You believe the Church needs to be continuously self-reforming in line with Scripture to rid itself of accretions. You don't have the same loyalty towards a certain communion in the same way a Catholic or Orthodox would. I really couldn't see myself staying in a congregation with the amount of liturgical and theological abuse as the Episcopalian church has today.

I'm Episcopal because I really like the direct apostolic connection to Christ. I like taking communion with the people of my town, and I do have a loyalty to it, so stop making assumptions when you don't know. I enjoy the high level of education in the Episcopal Church, and everyone's really helpful. We want to do our best and live as little-s saints, and being there encourages and enlightens me.

What do you mean by "liturgical and tehological abuse"? Because what's a bug to you is probably a feature to me. Women belong in the pulpit, and priests should be allow to marry, and it's OK to be gay. Why can't you understand that it's in the best interest of a church these days to welcome anyone with open arms? That a church might be a place of acceptance and spiritual renewal? Do you go to church and expect your priest to preach a sermon about AGPs and pedos? Do you want that authentic experience of fire and brimstone? Go Haredi
