"An open letter to all who love RWBY" or "How I killed my career in animation."

Short version, some animator who was hired in during the early days of RWBY wasn't able to keep up with the higher quality and larger workload required as they hired in more professionals, they eventually got canned. Writes bitter, salty letter at some 38 pages telling us his sob story which includes:

Being thirsty for Oum's widow; Sheena was banned from the RT studio after basically becoming a nuisance to the workplace environment. She also sold on one of the few Monty-made physical props he signed barely 3 months after his death. She also tried to reinsert herself into the RWBY creative process (which was owned by Rooster Teeth) after his death.

"My wife left me because of the work!"

"Diagnosed with major depression at a very young age (4 or 5)" for that special snowflake flavour.

Maya whinging.

Being obstinate to upper management when they wanted to reassign them.

Endless putting of Monty Oum up on a pedestal and that the RT upper management were all evil.

And it goes on and on and on...

Now this doesn´t really fit anywhere, sort of not even in Obscure Laughingstocks, but I post it anyway. There is this Twitter account who mocks #ISIS with quite funny photoshopped pictures. Obscure insofar that he has over 8000 tweets, and follows/gets followed only by a secondary account of his own. Same shit basically, just this one has like a dozen followers. He tweets in several languages, Arabic, English, German or French, and as it seems always under the same #hashtags, which I guess are directly aimed at #IslamicState supporters. He is a bit of a one trick pony, very repetitive, but this had me laughing out loud.

Typical DA sperg who makes shitty Disney fanart, but it's kinda extreme how much she does of it. I don't get what is it with DA spergs that they draw so much in so little time, but their galleries are always filled with like 1330 drawings or something. Hers would be quite unremarkable if it wasn't for the creepy crush she has on Walt Disney, her Mary Sues/self-inserts starring in a sex comic with the man himself, or that she's one of those typical art hos that put their crap in EVERY SINGLE CLUB possible without thinking that all of their spammed shit makes it hard for others to look in the club. Owners of some of these clubs have asked her to stop spamming their clubs with her shit but she doesn't listen.
And she also doesn't care if her drawings don't fit the theme of the club, what matters is that her precious pictures get some attention.
 
There's a dude who calls himself 'moviefan2k4' on every website he frequents. I was introduced to this man via my partner, who frequents a forum this dude is always on.

Anyway, the guy is hugely into his censorship. He believes no film should contain any form of nudity or violence what-so-ever and swearing is a huge no-no as well. Not only does he get into huge arguments with people over these dumb things but he also claims that the sight of a naked woman in a film is just 'too tempting' and that it shouldn't be there because it 'ALWAYS' means sexuality (even if the woman is just dressing or whatever).
After laughing at this dude for a while, I decided to check out his username on other sites and he's a massive bible-loving, autistic weirdo. His posts range from boring arguments about censorship to talking about jacking it to the thought of god. He's a real strange one, but perhaps not vocal enough to be a lolcow; he is funny though if you check him out.

On the same site there's this other dude who has an obsession with Emma Watson (how she was in the HP films, you know, when she was like, ten) and he's a MASSIVE feminist. I argued with him once about feminism, but me being the stupid woman I am was totally wrong while he told me how (as a woman) I should feel. The guy was batshit and a fountain of autistic entertainment. I think his account got banned though, so I haven't seen him since. I'll have to ask the boyfriend for his username because that guy was whack.

As whiny and tl;dr as that apology is, there's clearly no clear victor here.

Shane loses because he thought this was something worth writing about and that he doesn't seem to realize that times change and that RT's a company. They have to make things that benefit them. That said, can't side with RT too. Seeing as the not only stole Monty's baby, but also sound like jackasses to their employees and their families. And to be fair, none of their shit's been all that great anyways (never really liked RvB and their other shows feel secondary, RWBY included). So I can see where Shane's coming from.

But good lord, is a 38 page sob story really that necessary? Especially from a guy who's animation isn't all that great anyway?
 

Meet the reincarnation of Elliot Rodger. I'm not entirely sure what he's saying in the video due to his thick accent, but his channel is full of angry videos about not being able to find a girlfriend. This guy might be worth a look.

Okay, here's another one, guys. Ever heard of a dude called Calum Waddell? He's a 'writer/producer'. He makes a lot of special features for like, obscure horror films and that sorta thing. Anyway, just looking on his twitter feed or reading one of his articles about a movie should tell you enough about this guy not only having a massive ego but also being a massive tool.
He's actually become quite notorious in the indie horror scene for being egotistical, rude and arrogant as all hell. He frequently argues with people online if they call him out on his ill-informed opinions or just minor disagreements in regard to anything he's written and once he runs out of arguments he uses the typical 'you must be a troll in your mum's basement lul'.
There's a company dedicated to releasing obscure horror etc called Arrow Video; whom he used to work for. Nowadays all he does is bitch about them obsessively, even going so far as to leak their new releases and criticize them publicly on almost every one of his social media accounts. To boot, he will brag about how he's the reason some of the movies get the attention they do today.
As well as this, he googles his name daily, nightly and ever so rightly and will almost always make a show of it on twitter if he finds anyone saying anything bad about him.
He's a lot of work to find out about but once he gets going he's a total prat. I wouldn't be surprised, to be honest, if he finds this thread and bitches about it on his twitter or tries to sue or whatever.
