if that franchise attracted normal people it would have already crashed and burned
unfortunately, you can look forward to nothing but insane derision from the cattle who still play mainline Pokémon, blaming the Switch 2 and Nintendo and anything but the company themselves for why mainline Pokémon looks worse than Gamecube titles while this utterly uninspired soulslike rip-off almost looks comparable to actual AAA games

Gamefreak’s looking to kill itself because Nintendo keeps zapping them back to life to make another pokemon game so when they see Microsoft closing a bunch of studios it must look like salvation.

Because of Indies. They're the worst thing to happen to gaming and have stopped the crash from happening for a decade. Going all the way back to Minecraft, these games inject life and money into the industry just as it should die.
Indies should be on a closed platform so that the big 3 can fuck off and die already.

Ive had another think about it and i genuinely think they hate developing pokemon and are leveraging the fact its too big to fail to put their best people on anything else and have the interns develop pokemon.
Even with how generic and choppy it looks the new game has to be developed by their best staff which can only mean their less talented people are put on the constant pokemon churn and i can only reason they would do that is out of spite or frustration because surely making more pokemon makes more money.
 
Watching pc games show. I got pretty excited about NWN2 getting EE because unlike NWN1 it's a clunky piece of shit game and modding revival through workshop would be neat but I wonder how really enchanced it will be.
 
Did I just watch a woman and a lanky gay tell me how hard is it to screw an SSD into a PC case? The fuck is the industry :story:
 
I could be misremembering but I feel like Xbox had decent shows the last few years, this was by far one of their worst though.

Vampire game looks interesting. Tony Hawk game is only going to be good if they keep the soundtrack the same. I wonder if High on Life 2 will be better or worse without Justin Roiland. Obsidian fixed the terrible perks and lack of builds in Outer Worlds, but it still has reddit humor.
 
Ill and The Blood of Dawnwalker were the only games that I felt legitimate hype for. RE9 is cool I guess as well as the 007 game. But that's really it.
