Not to be mr no-fun but I don't have a single bit of hype for a remake of an already good game that I already own. Same reason I didn't buy Mario RPG.

(I did get way pulled into the SO2 remake though so I guess I'm mr hypocrite)

The only really notable part is that TTYD is rather expensive and its obnoxious to set up a GCN or Wii. For SMRPG, which was still a very playable game to this day, despite its age, I think an NSO offering would have sufficed. But hey, it broke a million on what I assume to be a shoe-string budget so whatever.

Like the mighty phoenix, from the ashes of Yuzu rises.....

'How is it not going to be immediately shut down?' you may ask. Well, contributor and Discord moderator Sharpie told Ars Technica that the development team has consulted "someone with legal experience" and the project "currently exists in a legal gray area we are trying to work our way out of."
There are a couple of key differences between Yuzu and Suyu, according to Sharpie. The new project will reportedly avoid any monetisation, will not provide step-by-step guides on how to play copyrighted games, and is openly against any suggestions of piracy — three large factors that worked against Yuzu in Nintendo's recent lawsuit. Alongside these changes, Sharpie says that the emulator will be requiring users to provide their own encryption keys, hopefully from a legitimate and purchased source — though the developer does confess that "there isn't really a way to verify the keys were dumped legitimately from the user's Switch."

If real, my guess is a Dual screen that can “attach” to each other,
So we're going back to the DS days with the dual screens, huh?

On one hand, DS and 3DS games could now be ported to the switch since at this point they don't have an excuse anymore for why they can't be on the switch (although you'd need to buy a stylus for them, but that's a VERY minor setback). On the other hand, how exactly would this work on the big screen? One screen goes on the mount while the other you treat like the WiiU tablet? Wasn't that the thing that turned off alot of people to the WiiU in the first place?

Also forget this thing ever fitting in anyone's pockets now. We've reached "GameGear Brief Case" levels of "portable"

define "barely", because i wear Old Navy loose fitting jeans and their front pockets hold the lite just fine

There's also pants that have zipper-pockets on the legs that are made for that kind of stuff.

Or you can go old-school and buy Jnco jeans online
By barely I mean comfortably, not literally squeezing it into your pocket like a vulgar analogy. And that's just the Lite, the other models definitely aren't pocketable to most people, I think.

I mean if you're a kid, the target market, it can easily fit in a backpack. That's where I put my DS lite most of the time in school tbh.

To bad they couldn't make a Switch where the main screen slides up like an old T-Mobile sidekick to reveal a smaller second screen
