Can we get a re-release of Soul Caliber 2 on switch? so i can fight with Link. I still play the Cube version but an updated one would really warm the heart. Plus... Ivy on my 75 inch TV wouldn't be that bad either.
They delisted SC2 HD Online so maybe?

I already own 8 copies of SC2 and don't trust modern Bandai Namco ports considering the last few years but I don't know how they could screw up just porting HD Online.

Hades has ruined me. After putting about 100 hours into it, I did about 55 in Dead Cells, 40 in Children of Morta and Cult of the Lamb, and about 25 in Skul. I've got Moonlighter and Enter the Gungeon up next.

That list is really off. Not sure how they are coming to those number, unless it is a list based on just debt to equity ratio or something like that, which is a pretty poor way to judge this. Reality is most big companies have some level of debt and not all debt is bad for them. Just one case, the interest rate for debt maybe lower than hen the return of investing it, thus they would be losing money by paying it off.

If you look at market Nintendo is not worth anything close to Toyota, right now Toyota has more cash on hand ($76.37 Billion) than the market cap for Nintendo. Yet Toyota is no where on the list.

Based on market cap
It said in the article that Sony didn't make the list because of their high amounts of debt, so they are taking debt levels into their calculations. Nintendo is the 5th largest video game company, purely going by market cap. But all the companies ahead of them are conglomerates that don't just make games, so Nintendo is also the largest video game company in the world.

7 years is increasingly becoming a normal console generation but really why not aim for 8 if things are going well?
You don't want the momentum of the previous product to completely collapse before releasing a new one. You want to carry some of that momentum into the next console. Nintendo had clearly done everything they want to do with the Switch at this point, so its just getting late ports and remakes. Its time to move on. The problem is that Nintendo doesn't have much to carry the rest of the year. They will probably need to announce the new console soon to build up hype and keep people invested in the brand.

It'd be nice to see a final version bring all characters together, Switch is perfect for it.

I prefer SC3, it'd be nice to see that one get a release. Even SC4, despite the guests being shit (Starkiller was kinda neat but Star Wars was such a dumb, random choice, but then again so was Spawn).

Even with that in mind, I'm not expecting much. And we all know what state Pokémon has been in these last few years. After Palworld, any Pokémon game they announce would just look sad in comparison.
oh god i hope so. We need a couple Pokemon duds to kill GameFreak then the series will finally be able to improve

That sounded more like the writer guessing to me. but still an awful way to make a list like this. And you are right using, market cap to say who is bigger gaming company also doesn't work, however, I was more using it to show the issues with that list which is why I used Toyota rather than a gaming company.

Nintendo I don't think will be staying in the games only business for long anyway. Mario movie with they co-funded 50% made over $1.3 billion, they have a deal with Sony to also co-fund the Zelda movie, and have bought their own animation studio, give it 10 to 15 years, wouldn't be shocked if Nintendo was making original movies. And for a number of years they have been licensing out ip to toy makers for a good success, I could very much see they at some point cutting the middle man out and doing it themselves.

Alright, soon the moment of truth. Will I get Endless Ocean back? I can’t believe an ocean simulator game is the most hype rumor, but those games were good and should be remastered since there is truly nothing like them on the market. Bonus points if we somehow get a ‘Another Code’ style collection which includes both titles.

It won’t happen, but getting Everblue back would also be cool since it was the predecessor series on PS2.

Speaking of which, it's probably too soon to know, but I wonder if we're going to get a Hotel Dusk collection like that. I don't expect it here already of course, even if it's coming.

Does this answer your question?

Gundam Breaker 4.png

Gundam Breaker 4 is the biggest announcement for me, as I assumed the franchise serie was abandoned after the failure of New Breaker. I played a lot of Breaker 3 in my PSVita days. Some other pleasant surprises such as Epic Mickey, SMT V Vengeance, World of Goo 2 and Ender Magnolia but nothing groundbreaking imo.

That was a pretty bad direct... The only thing interesting in the least was Ender Magnolia, some random anime Metroidvania with nice art. Killer Instinct on NSO was more hype than anything which is kinda...yeah.

If Another Code does well is what I heard
Yeah, I sure hope it does.
