"rumor"
i've played it for around twenty hours and it crashes pretty frequentlyKnights of the Old Republic's on sale, is the port worth getting or should I just stick to the Xbox version I have?
As someone who was a little sour at every Nintendo fan basically acting like Xenoblade was the devil incarnate last week, this would be absolutely hilarious and satisfying. I don't see it though. I guess I can't be too mean though. They have had a history of shit sports games lately.
Luckily never had to deal with the drift. Now having said that I’ve cursed myself and probably will go home to all my controllers being dog shit.
Worst part about Joycon drift is that for a while it was completely denied by people. It was claimed that it "didn't exist" and there was "exaggerated reports" even from the community. And all because they personally didn't experience it. Thus pointing out that Nintendo fans are absolute dribbling retards who think that in order for something to be broken, it needs to be broken for all.I still haven't experienced the joycon drift and the Switch is the system that I'm primarily gaming on
I also finished the TMNT game this week which is another good 2022 title in the list.
>Can't play certain games on itThe fact that drift is just as likely to occur on the Switch Lite is horseshit since that's guaranteed to ruin the whole console
What's wrong with the other colors?>comes in faggy colors outside of blue/gray
because pink and yellow are for giiiiiiiirl!1!!1What's wrong with the other colors?
This has been true for a while, but is especially true now: The best way to do “modern gaming” is to get the current Nintendo console for its first party exclusives, and a PC for literally everything else (or Xbox if you’re on a budget/can’t into computers). There are plenty of great first party Switch games, but if you don’t care about those, then there’s really not much of a reason to get one.But getting back to my earlier point.... after awhile it feels depressing that this new modern console is being used primarily just to play old games that I might actually already own a version of. It almost feels like the console was pointless.
This is the case for consoles in general now; at least the Switch still feels unique for (again) its exclusives while Microsoft has literally given up on exclusivity and Sony is slowly moving in that direction. The day Nintendo puts its games on PC will be the day PC and console truly lose all creative distinction. Also, this may just be me, but one thing that's bugging me is it feels like there isn't really a distinction between "PC" and "Console" anymore. Whenever I look at the eshop it often reminds me of those old "100s of shareware games" CDs you used to find for MS-DOS. It's like... whenever I think of the NES or SNES or Genesis, those consoles each had a unique "identity." But the Switch feels like a melting pot of sorts, a smorgasborg.
MN9 was released during the Wii U era, and it was the buggiest version of an already broken game. It’s also the only game that’s ever outright crashed my Wii U without the help of mods/homebrew.(shockingly, Mighty No. 9 isn't on the Switch)
I'd say DS still retained a certain degree of unique audio. It definitely isn't as distinct as Genesis or something, but a number of games still had like a "MIDI" sound, for lack of a better term.I think a big part of this lack of unique identity is the music. Cartridge-based systems up through GBA relied on proprietary sound chips with soundfonts as opposed to all-purpose CD audio, so they all sounded unique. Take a multiplatform game that was released on both SNES and Genesis, and even if they look the same, you can probably tell which is which by how they sound. Now when a game is released on multiple systems, there’s no more creative distinction; the only difference is the power of the hardware unless there’s some system-exclusive feature like amiibo.
Nah, they're still releasing one each month, with an announcement trailer a week before hand.Has Nintendo mentioned anything about more N64 games? Hopefully the next batch release with 2 at a time instead of 1.
Maybe, but I don't want to imagine how it'd play without that N64 controller.Jet Force Gemini
I haven't played it in a long time, why is that?Maybe, but I don't want to imagine how it'd play without that N64 controller.
It played fine on the Xbox OneMaybe, but I don't want to imagine how it'd play without that N64 controller.
They bothered to add an alternate control scheme to better resemble modern shooters, I doubt the same would happen here.It played fine on the Xbox One
Gamecube? Haha, those don't get the NSO treatment, those get remade entirely and sold at full price.Nah, they're still releasing one each month, with an announcement trailer a week before hand.
At this point, I think they got Super Smash Bros, Mario Party 1-3, Wave Race 64, some Rare games (I'm thinking Banjo-Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, and Donkey Kong 64 are guaranteed), and some third party games left. They want to keep people on the Expansion Pack, then they may need to look into getting some GameCube support going (assuming that isn't its own $75 subscription, of course).
