That's pretty dope, actually. Seems like most people want an interactive movie when it comes to most video games, which sucks because you don't need to dumb down something in order for said thing to become accessible for the public.I'm not even trying to sound like a jaded boomer when I say we've come a long way if people are complaining about Dread's difficulty. I consider myself to be of below average skill when it comes to action and shooter games (which Dread basically is) and haven't found it particularly challenging. Boss and E.M.M.I. fights are 99% pattern recognition and the checkpoints are extremely forgiving. Don't think I've been stuck on a boss for more than 10 minutes and I'm pretty far into the game.
Haven't gotten Dread yet (it'll be a minute before I get my hands on anything remotely "modern" Metroid) and I've been cautious on getting too deep into spoiler territory.
