Won't get any arguments there. That series deserves a lot more attention than it's getting. What I really can't believe is how few people are making clones of it. If someone wants to make a game called Space Coyote and have it be a modern day reimagining of Star Fox 2, that would be super.
I think Star Fox is in the same weird situation that F-Zero is. Nintendo are obsessed with reinventing the wheel for the series even though no one is asking them to and they just have no ideas for where they want to the take the series forward.

I really don't know why everyone's so assblasted about SFZ's controls. You get used to them pretty quickly and it's actually really nice being able to make fine-tuned adjustments. It's basically the only time I've ever actually liked the "move your screen around like an asshole" method of controlling a game, except for New Pokemon Snap where it makes sense in-universe.
Star Fox Zero is nearly six years old now, and you're the very first person I have ever seen defending it. Even the more dedicated Nintendo fans at the time had a "what are you doing?!" attitude towards it, and the last time I saw that was when Wii Music was new.

I'm not even really a "Nintendo fan". I'll fully admit that the Wii U was a failed experiment and had very few truly good games on it. But I don't know, I just really like Star Fox. I also like games where you're forced to multitask to an absurd degree, so maybe there's some overlap there. It's like Star Fox: Ritalin Edition. This hole was made for me.

really nigga?

In lighter news, for any Moomin fans out there, this is one to potentially look out for:
- A cozy adventure game in a gorgeous storybook art style
- Story-rich gameplay and charming characters to meet, each with their own charming stories to uncover and quests to solve, inspired by Tove Jansson’s work
- Explore Moominvalley’s open world and solve musical and environmental puzzles along the way to uncover its secrets
- Get the strict Park Keeper and his horrible parks out of Moominvalley with the help of your trusty harmonica, a bit of stealth, and the friends you’ll meet along the way

Oh, well that's wrong. Nintendo's overall quality never really faltered during the Wii U and their third parties also produced. The Wii U had a lot of excellent games on it.
The Wii-U only had Xenoblade Chronicles X. Mario kart 8 was unfinished. They tried to set up a sequel to the Mario DS games as the next mainline Mario title and it didn't really pan out.

Also let's not forget fucking Star Fox and how a company who has made games since the 1980's put out a game that failed to take into account that you have to be able to physically control the ship and ruined it all to promote a gimmick.

Jojo Bizzare Adventures All Stars Battle R was announced to be released on Switch (and PC too) around early fall
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R introduces a completely revamped and improved version of the fight system first introduced in 2013, upping the tempo with hit stops, dashes, intricate new combos, and an all-new “Support Attack” tag-team battle system. Game modes consist of All-Star Battle Mode, Arcade Mode, Online Mode, Versus Mode, Practice Mode, and Gallery Mode. The main mode, All-Star Battle Mode, features classic clashes between heroes from prior games in addition to all-new battles, offering more than 100 different battles for players to experience. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R also offers a range of customizable and collectible skins along with unique illustrations that players can unlock and play in Gallery Mode.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is also multi-platform alongside with Switch
This incredible collection of thirteen original classics gives chasing down Shredder, fighting the Foot, and tangling-up with Bebop and Rocksteady a fresh look at why Konami’s adaptations of the heroes in a half shell set the standard in beat ’em up, action games. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection includes:

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES)

And finally a Touhou doujin game (Gensou Shoujo Wars: Dream of the Stray Dreamer) that plays similarly to Super Robot Wars is coming out later this month (March 31). Japan-only for now.
