Eh fuck it, I do have a screenshot. This is from the overclocking homebrew, with the default values highlighted as well. Nintendo crippled the console themselves. Unless you want to give up battery life, you're not getting a Switch Pro... And even if you did, it wouldn't be more capable than a souped up Model 1 Switch. The Lite is also permanently in handheld mode, so expect games to cater to that specifically.

Seen a ton of seething that the OLED model isn't the pro in places like youtube and twitter, which to be honest, I don't get?
The pro model would make no sense for a multitude or reasons, from the fact that 4k would probably be a selling point of a switch 2, to the fact that exclusive games for the pro model would exclude most of the casual consumerbase if they didn't buy it.

Not to mention the fact that this is more like the move from the DS to the DS Lite or Gameboy to Gameboy Pocket, it's a new model designed for people just buying a switch now, in fact I would expect the base switch to be discontinued eventually due to the chipset and the OLED dropping in price to 300. Might also be boomerspeak, but I really don't get the need for 4k, I can barely tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, is 4k really that different?

Though of course the people bootlicking Nintendo over the OLED are no better, I can get why some people are mad that there's no Pro model with performance in 3rd party ports being very subpar.

I dunno. A lot of titles aren't really benefitting from jacking up the clockspeeds, or at least, not while they're running at 1080p over their handheld 720p modes. Imagine 4k now.

Heck, 4k isn't trivial for PC either. The jump from 1080p to 4k is massive compared to the one from 720p to 1080p.

This upgrade seems very insignificant, which is probably why it wasn't a part of E3.

Whatever. Wonder who the next Smash character will be... can I get a Robotnik!? Because we all know Waluigi will be the super secret final character to round out the perfect rectangle of characters which you can only see if you display echo fighters as their own fighter icon in the character select screen. Seriously why would they only add one more when they could add two more and have perfect rows and columns?

I swear to god if they only add one more and the character select screen is not a perfect shape I will blow my Switch up with tannerite. REEEEEEE!!!!

Better get that tannerite ready. The next Smash character will be the last one. Looking forward to the inevitable salt.

*crosses fingers* Come on, Boogerman!

People will make anything, nowadays.

Funny enough, I'm interested in this mostly to see just how much it actually "reacts" to your gameplay. The trailer makes it seems like it's just commenting on enemies and environment which honestly wouldn't be that hard to implement.

From what I've seen of it from gameplay videos, it does exactly that.

So it’s just an adventure game with a self aware narrator that never shuts up about what you’re doing? Hard pass. Stanley Parable already did this as best as you could possibly do it and this game just seems annoying about it by comparison.
Stanley at least didn't have the narrator sing everything you did, there were also moments where the narrator shut up, whereas I have to imagine Generic McProtagonist sings nonstop.

If Nintendo wanted a pro model they could keep pretty much the same parts but overclock it, add in a better battery and cooling if needed along with the Oled. But clearly they don't

There's also a sorceress who joins on the singing. But the only saving grace is that the game takes around 4 hours to finish.

Bad games can't be enjoyed the same way bad movies can, because bad movies are over in 90 minutes.

Bad games require too much investment. And when you have a narrator who won't shut up, when you get stuck looking for an item or a puzzle it's very annoying.
