So I just started checking out Wabbajack and this is what these mod authors were mad about? That a fucking program is making me manually download their mods along with a list of other ones?

Am I misunderstanding or are they even dumber than I thought?

one of the main reasons is that they dont want filthy mouthbreathers making incompatible packs and then asking for support

but the real reason is probably because wabbajack gives no real traffic or way to interact with the page if you have premium nexus iirc, (unless they removed it since you mentioned downloading the things yourself) since that allows you to make drop an install packs

all in all, its just autists mad they cant be the ultimate arbitrers of their own work
 
Did all this wabbajack shit and the fucking game won't even start.

I don't know what the fuck else I should have expected from Skyrim modding spergs. Most mods for Skyrim are shit.

That's not my experience with Wabbajack. I've used it with a few modlists (Keizaal, The Phoenix Flavour, Legends of the Frost, and Slidikins' Strenuous Skyrim: SE).

Did you follow the instructions on the website once WJ finished? Also, which modlist did you use?

Followed the instructions to a fucking T. I try to start SKSE through Mod Organizer and it just hangs up and doesn't start.

Legends of the Frost.
 
I don't fucking trust this shit one bit.

Any time I use more than like 30 mods something fucking conflicts or the game straight up starts breaking at like 10 hours in.

I can't imagine using something like 200+ mods, even if they're mostly graphics or something.

I can see why some mod authors would be against this shit on that basis, although they were probably being overly spergy about it. Just put a disclaimer that says "fuck off I won't support what the fuck you did through a modlist" instead of taking all your shit down.

did you do a completely clean install of Skyrim? wabbajack also has a discord that's very helpful to figure out what the fuck went wrong.
 
Just want to say this thread made me aware of Wabbajack while looking for discussions that shit on Beth for Starfield.
This allowed me to reinstall and play Fallout 4 with a huge (800+) modlist that makes it gorgeous, mechanically complete and cuts lots of the bullshit "muh Shawn" story (atm playing as BoS advance scout). For now, performance are good and the game stable, having a blast

Also fuck Nexusmods, if modlist installers are a problem for them, even if indirectly, then may them be blessed.
