I expected the Phantom Fury shitshow to be over at this point, but the developer of Cultic (published by nu3DR), Jason Smith, came in to defend the studio and rant against the criticism, but instead of going after the big Youtubers, he went after a very small one, who was even hyped for the game and defended nu3DR's buggy releases in the past, i guess our boy Jason was too afraid to go after Gman or Civvie.
At the rate this shitshow is going, we might have to make a nu3DR Community Watch thread.

He would probably be better served by staying as far away from that mess as possible. Cultic is pretty much the only thing 3DR has put out recently that was good.

It's a weird game, kind of shitty but there's something to it at the same time. I remember playing it a lot on playstation. Don't think it had mid-level saves or checkpoints and the levels were quite long and nonsensical.

Is it really that hard to just download aleph one and put the legally free marathon games into a glorified WAD folder?
Discordnigger newfags have clearly taken over the project if its getting a steam page for any project older than 2020 and have most likely fucked with it in some way to harvest data from end users.

Would not recommend. Despite being a remaster it has no music and retains the absolute shit (running on ice) movement of the original. I would only recommend it as a gag gift when it's on sale for a $1. It's more of a curiosity game than anything with the extremely experimental level design. But it's just too jank to be fun at least for me. The controls for using the jetpack just sealed the deal, man. I'd rather play Witchaven.
