The moral of this manga ended up being "You're either born exceptional or you're doomed to be a wagie."

Kinda based maybe?

Nah the real moral is that Deku became a real hero because he did a good job networking in high school.

He got that Iron Man suit through networking and having rich friends.

The fact 6 more movies are going to be made that will definitely have the Iron Man suit is going to be a choice.

In fairness his friends can be rich because he saved them all.

Honestly, the fact he lost OFA offscreen is what really shoots the ending.

He should have used it up saving Tenko. What greater hero can there be than saving the villain and then training them to be #1.

He’d manage to do something no other hero did.

At the very least show us OFA being lost by him doing something heroic.

As it is,the ending feels hollow. Like he didn’t feel like he was the greatest hero before losing his powers.

It’s so very clear Hori wanted to write Deku as Iron Man/Spiderman but kept getting cockbloced.

It would honestly be funny if it hadn’t resulted in MHA turning to crap.

Hori did Spiderman parallels with the whole Danger Sense and Black Whip but he failed to really understand Spider-man beyond a surface level. Unlike Spider-man, Deku never really suffers in the story. His self-sacrificial behavior is always rewarded and the one time he snapped, he quickly got back.

There were many moments where he could have an Uncle Ben moment as Shigaraki could've killed Gran Torino, but he's alive because hero plot armor. But then there's Bakugo, but Bakugo is Horikoshi's favorite character and his cashcow so can't kill him off.

Spider-Man suffers loss and deals with the hardship of society while the heroes in MHA live in very cushy dormitories at the best school in the country while the villains are the ones who live in poverty and scrounging by like Spider-Man.

The start of a new poll to vote on, or another results page?
It's a global poll where people can vote for their favorite character, ask questions to the characters and Horikoshi, and even make their own top 5

Here is the link

Though given the fanbase, the top 3 is going to be Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto again (Though out of the three, Shoto is the only good one).

As said, there any many indicators that Hori wanted to do shit, drew it and published it and then got told no. So things were suddenly fine a chapter or two later.

No wonder Hori cucked the readers with the ending lol

Given the fanbase, the top 3 is going to Bakugo in all three spots. I think we can safely call this douchebag the new Hitsugaya.

Pissing in the ocean, but it's expressing what little power I've got.

No idea why the dude rushed the Manga that hard.

More of a slow burn Harry Potter style where the stakes are upped each year and the conclusion happen before/after graduating.

The start really set up to something good and the anime certainly helped.

Also kinda wack how Deku is just a Naruto style fake underdog. The guy had the chosen one quirk since the very start.

Would have liked if Deku's injuries actually paid off and he lost the ability to use OFA super strength and speed since his body is so damaged. Then with introspection and knowing more about his quirk he unlocks the prior users quirk and is able to fight crime while being crippled.

The guy already had the chosen one quirk and then he got extra prior quirks on top of that...

Deku was also supposed to try to/ fix society's main problems. Fake Heroes just chasing fame and quirk discrimination. He did neither of that.

Also would have enjoyed if quirk singularity was more developed. The idea that each generation gets stronger and more dangerous is really interesting.

With the amount of fuckery he put up with, I think he just wanted it over with.

I legit thought that’s where Hori was going. Everything was set up for it. And then it just doesn’t. Likely told he could not cripple his MC.

Given that his arms got blasted off and regened a chapter later, very likely.
There’s no way he didn’t get strong armed hard into not doing it. The entire series up to that point was keeping track of every time he used OFA and the damaged it caused him and informing egeryone of how many more uses he has. Then we get told he has one more use. Then he goes well beyond that. And he’s fine a chapter later. No fucking way that was what Hori wanted.

I’d also bet that that was why Support Tech was even a thing. So that when Deku busted himself, a full on suit would be made.

It’s no surprise everything goes to shit straight after. Several years of build up clearly got fucked with hard and along with everyone else he dealt with I think Hori just said fuck it.

And I don’t faulr him one bit.

No the moral is deku is a little shit that doesnt even try to be a hero unless he's OP. Knuckleduster, Mirio and others have shown you can be able to fight heroes even if you don't have powers. Deku is a bitch.

Imagine some 30 year old teacher read the ending and be like "he's a wage cuck just like me. How inspiring." I hope the author release an epilogue showing how Bakugo and Uraraka had been fucking during the 8 years time skip just to rub it in further.
