Is anyone reading the My Hero Acadamia: Illegals spin-off manga? Because some major shit just went down in the new chapter...
Old post I know but I've been keeping up on Illegals. It's a very tonally different but solid spin-off and I do appreciate them adding depth to the main manga's characters with the stuff in it.

I haven't watched Season 5 yet and I haven't been reading up with the manga. I know Twice dies and there's some "seven quirks" bullshit, and has obviously declined since the first few arcs, but has it gotten to the "get out while you still can" phase, or passed it?

The manga is better rn, they kinda fucked up this adaption as a whole due to the point that this is the worst season of this show, all just to make a flow of events for the upcoming movie.

Mineta is a real hero in the meta sense on showing how schizophrenic the sodomite is with their chimp out.
The fact they consider basic admiration "ghei" says a lot about them.

TBF, it was a translation mistake, the OG is just a homie admiring his homie. Tho yeah, the yaoifags do have a habit of inserting the gay in anyone of the same sex breathing on one another.

Basedboy Mineta has literally riled the twitter yaoifags. Truly the best boy of the series for a reason.

I think it's another one of those where Twitter just doesn't get non-sexual or even non-romantic infatuation. Mineta essentially admitted that since that moment he's been not in love with Deku but adoring of the vision presented to him. And his behaviour reflected that. At that point on the boat he was 100% clear that he was a coward and willing to hide and let real heroes handle it. Deku's behaviour changed him.

Since then while he has still been pretty spineless but he'd never say that same thing and mean it. The inspiration he took was not anything sexual though. It's "Kiss Me Hardy," it's the love soldiers have for one another, it's familial bonds, it's finding beauty in works of art. Love exists in so many forms that it's kind of tragic that the internet has lessened in it to "they wnt 2 fck."

Slightly more on topic with the most recent chapter nice callback to the Bakugo rescue with the move pulled off and I appreciate they depict Midoriya's hero complex as actually more self destructive here given Ida had to take his hand rather than extend an offer of help that they believed would be taken

Just read the latest chapter and..
Bakugou finally apologizes to Deku for being a piece of shit for the majority of the manga. I mean its a long time coming but I can't help but feel the impact for it could have been better

The bigger spoiler is that Deku and Uravity held hands, the sick degenerate fucks.

BAN THIS SICK FILTH.

Well with the recent anime, I think it's best for anyone who watches the anime only to read the manga. They cut so much shit and fucked over the whole season because of the timeslot the show is in and to also shill a movie.

Yeah the main manga seems to be going in an interesting direction. Helps the art has some great spreads.

So for anyone who was mainly watching the anime or planning to, stick with the manga since I do not believe that the anime will do the upcoming arcs justice

Sorry for the double post but my god the manga is looking to go in a downward spiral especially with recent leaks

The story is in the "final act" yet it's rushed as hell with how Deku's mental issues have been resolved quickly, how Horikoshi introduced a new hero only for her to be killed off just to be a debuff for Shigaraki, and now based on leaks for the upcoming chapter, it's revealed the class has been training offscreen, Toga is somehow back with the other villains, and Horikoshi actually did the traitor reveal and it was for the most boring character in the cast.

And for those who don't want to bother looking it up, it's the most obvious choice and one I pretty much saw coming the moment the plotline started- the invisible girl.

Yeah like unless it's a red herring, it is absolute garbage since it's pretty much the safest and most predictable choice, it doesn't help Invisible girl doesn't have much character
