That Jeanne episode was fucking disturbing. These people wouldn't clean themselves to stay alive.

I skipped the Stunning and Brave ep, didn't seem interesting from what I read. Just a transsexual who got fat and no ridiculousness. Did I miss out on anything?
A lot of folks have been boring this season. Maybe I'm spoiled; I'm only entertained when they're fat AND crazy.
I'm about to watch Hy-Jean. It sounds like a crossover with the grosser people of Hoarders and reminds me of Shay.

Oh man Shay. What a blast from the past.

She crashed here and smelled up the place with her "hormonal imbalance," which would mean that she had a bum full of shit that couldn't be wiped, though it didn't smell like poo, more like dirt and rotting vegtables.”

Re: Jeanne

Couple more wtf moments--why use a salt shaker at the table (well, ok-bed) when you can pour your favorite seasoning straight from the cylindrical container you bought it in. Just flip up that little spouty thingy and let 'er rip.

Our gorl Jeanne will not be giving up her ciggie habit anytime soon......

Yeah, she's doomed

Jeanne was a mess. Worth a watch, but only if you can stomach looking at a filthy house with 9 dogs and infected wounds on the obese.
Other things I noticed/highlights:

  • Going to church once a week ten years ago was the biggest accomplishment of her life.
  • Jeanne complained that people treated them like lepers, her mother replied "But lepers are thin"
  • During that rant, she claimed they were judging her for being.... disabled. Yeah, that's it all right.
  • Cigs: not even once
  • Such a stunted middle-aged womanchild. Never learned to drive (sound familiar?), never worked, never finished school. But not only that, there's not a single thing she takes personal responsibility for.
  • Her checkup tantrum is one for the books. She was so pathetically defensive and, once again, refused to take self control. But then she calls Dr. Now "unfair" and claims she'll lose the weight just to get back at him. (she doesn't)
  • Interesting quirk: she jiggles her foot and leg as a habit. That must burn hundreds of calories a day at her size.
  • The phone call from the police hard to watch. I'm kind of surprised they left that in.
  • At the end of the episode, they were driving back to handle the dad's funeral. But by leaving Houston for good, they were heading straight for their own.

This channel has most of the MSHPL episodes, here's the link for Jeanne and her feces folds.

I found it on YouTube, but the quality's kinda fucked.
Looks like the above one was taken down already here’s another one but with tweaked audio to avoid the YouTube police https://youtu.be/3s3tjDV-p1c

This one is better though https://youtu.be/6yYCnva4K2I
Thank you all! Pray for me.

They got to the clinic and the dumb bitch wore white pants. She said her leg hurt and her mom said "yeah I saw that you were bleeding on the back of your pants". Huge oozing, bleeding, disgusting wounds, she absolutely would have died from sepsis without intervention.

Her mom had her own body horror going on with her surgical wound, and also would have died if she hadn't gotten it cleaned up by dr now.

"My dad wanted to be here but can't drive and doesn't have a car". Maybe if he had gone with them dr now would have saved his life from whatever dumb shit killed him. 2/3 ain't bad though!

These people are ashamed enough to lie about their cleanliness. They know better. The house we saw was the absolute cleanest it had been in a long time, I guarantee it, because the cameras were coming. They tried to cover up their digusting lifestyle but were too fucking stupid to do it convincingly, and also too stupid to recognize life threatening medical problems caused directly by their filth. The show never discussed what anyone in the family did? Were they all on tugboats? All of them were dangerously stupid people, the dad seemed like he fried his brain with drugs or something.

I read somewhere the father was schizophrenic. I missed the first 15 min of the show so idk if was mentioned then. So one schizo husband, mom, one monsterously obese daughter, nine dogs and a filthy home. The mother had to have her own kind of crazy going on too. It was mentioned that Jeanne was molested by one of mom’s boyfriends as a kid so mom just probably calmed down in old age to be the martyr caretaker to her insane husband and Jaba.

I believe she mentioned that both her and her mother were living off the disability that she got for being too fat to work anymore. Not sure about the dad, although they mentioned he was schizophrenic so maybe he received some money as well. Both the parents appeared to be on full-time feeding duty.

As depressing and gross as this episode was, I did find it amusing that Jeanne's one job was to feed the dogs, which she seemed to proudly consider as a form of exercise.

Almost every person on My 600 lb life, plus their enablers are on SSI, with a few exceptions. Sometimes their partner or mom are their paid caretakers and that’s why their can be resistance or sabatoge to weight loss because it might put the tugboat in jeopardy.

Dr Now would be out of business if he stopped accepting Medicaid because that’s who pays for almost all the WLS surgeries and hospitalizations you see on the show.

The amount of money wasted enabling these useless fat fucks is staggering.

Jeanne was definitely the biggest trainwreck of the season so far. There was definitely fucked up shit (and literal shit) in that episode. Did have a chuckle when she was ranting about how awful people are because they were staring at her while she was smoking near a fucking gas pump. The leper comments were the icing on the cake.

As for the trans person episode, it was meh. Main thing was that Destinee (seriously?) struggled to get to her target weight and attended a burlesque class. She was honestly the most social of the patients I've seen on the show. She wanted to get out and interact with people.

Caught up on the show last night, fuck Jeanne is a mess. I loved how she called the dried, encrusted shit in her folds "dirt" in the end there, like honey, no. Also how she was so upset people were staring at her when she was sitting in the car at the gas station, like, who the fuck cares, ignore them fatty. How do they forget that people are going to stare because not only are they as big as a house, they have a damn film crew with them, people are gonna look.

And all I could think of was how much dog shit was in that house after her dad died, you could see how dirty the floor was near the laundry room.

This reminds me of that video i saw where they had to tear down a wall to bring the woman out because she couldn't move and her fat ass wouldn't fit through the door

https://youtube.com/watch?v=VLqTl4g934I
Holy fuck they did that combined with the story of a fat woman fused with a couch on Nip/Tuck

And then in 2011 it fucking happened again
The police and firefighters said that when they came to his home his skin was stuck to the chair's fabric, he was infested with maggots and his own feces and urine. A policeman described the scene as the worst he had ever seen. After helping the man get out of his chair, another officer said he had to throw away his uniform. The conditions in the rest of the house were described as "filthy".

In order to get the man out of the house a section of a wall had to be removed.
This is the future you're choosing, Jeanne
