Nevermind. Just checked and it's dead.

Call me a fag but I loved Warband's multiplayer and that was all I cared about. I only got Bannerlord for the improved Siege mode.
Damn shame I actually liked the modes they had but it felt like an afterthought. I think everyone felt burned after the long wait and just went back to Warband or gave up on it in general.

I left this game alone back in June when I heard the full release was coming out in October. I revisited and I'm having a great time with it. It is a lot better than what it was a couple months ago. I feel like I'm grinding a lot less and it gets you into fief and kingdom management a lot earlier. I've been playing this almost exclusively since the official release.

I sided with the Vladians because they seemed like good starting culture with their bonus for mercenary pay. I like the Aserai units but they are a pain in the ass to play as because everything is so spread out. When I would get low on troops I would travel to the south and stock up on more Aserai recruits.

Later in the game the Vladians are really nice to play as because they can only be attacked from the south and east and everything is close together. I completed the dragon banner quest and pledged loyalty to the Vladians. Somehow we're at peace so now I'm fooling with the town management mechanics. I feel like Taleworlds made a lot of improvements over the last couple months. This game is great and I would be playing right now if I didn't have adult responsibilities.

I'm tempted to play again, but I remembered my current save isn't likely compatible with this version, and I have a ton of smithing stuff unlocked.

I started a Sandbox game playing as a big Highland bastard, with plans to side with the Sturgians or Battanians. Then, in a weird twist, I got offered a merc contract from the Aserai, and now I'm about to become a vassel because all the sand people love me.
I love two handed weapons, and the fact you can dismount cavalry with a well timed baseball swing never gets old.

Some M&B games are on discount on Steam.

Are older titles still good? Or should I just buy the latest one?

They are great fun, but you can feel their ages.
Warband is the best one.

I've put more hours into warband then any other game I've played just due to the amount of mods it has, I'd highly suggest it. Just be warned the game looked like ass even on release and modding only helps it so much on that front.

So can someone rate my army comp for Inter-kingdom warfare? My cavalry consist of about 20 aseria youth upgraded to t5, 50 t4 imperial infantry and 25 t5 imperial archers. I started as a battanian for the boosted forest movement speed since that seems universal, and I'm allying with the southern empire. Who's going to fuck my units up? Got into a huge battle to siege castle Onica with my ally (250+ units) Vs a 400 unit army and was surprised to see anyone come out of it alive, nevermind win the battle.

Playing bannerlord btw

Aserai Faris are pretty good cavalry. They have astack of good javelins which are really good in the beginning of fights. I do find I tend to loose them in longer fight, where the Vlandia Banner Knights or Sturgian Druz (mostly due to their large shield) keep going. Are your Imp archers regular bowmen or Crossbowman? Imperial Legionares are a really good melee unit, and they tend to hold out really well against other units. I'd say if you want some improvements, go for Battanian Fians for archers, and maybe some Mendavellions in your infantry for when fights get bogged down. Maybe add some Sturgian heavy Axemen too for the best heavy infantry.

I've been playing Bannerlord 2 recently and wanted to get into multiplayer, I have one other friend that has it, any of you guys interested in a bit of multiplayer skuffles or more interested in just the general discussion of it here?

Reposting my comment from the other thread after mistakenly necrobumping it.

Anyone know the status on some of the Bannerlord overhaul projects aside from the recent DLC setback? I know Shokuho is doing fine at least.
