nexusfags btfo yet again. Not even for anything confirmed, just "uh maybe one of our dozens of contributors didn't give the go-ahead for this public project they volunteered to work on"

I just got it on moddb when it launched and it's still up there, same for steam workshop

Note if your getting graphical glitches in the mod try disabling cloth simulation as this has been a common issue.

Also tuning down the graphics settings (particularly the toggles) seems to make the mod a lot more stable (less crashy), just remember that terrain detail needs to be at least medium to avoid major issues because for some reason going below that breaks alot of shit.

>Get banned on Nexusniggerwebsite
Nexusnigs will never "yosh" in a battle.

I thought War Sails was releasing but its been postponed to "Fall 2025"

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord's big naval expansion is delayed: 'After taking a hard look at where things stand, it became clear we won’t be ready' - https://www.pcgamer.com/games/sim/m...hings-stand-it-became-clear-we-wont-be-ready/

jeetworlds may be aware their code is shit but I still have relatively low expectations other than seeing how their naval mechanics are going to work.

It's still nuts to me how Warband pioneered early access only for bannerlord to be the biggest exploit of it. "Heh, we'll release the game now, but youll want to wait a year to buy it..........."
>added nothing for a year
>release
>added nothing for years
>uhhh, expansion!

What killed MnB Bannerlords from being a mainstream game.

is the game devs not be able to make a system that can handle mods
and with each game update = completely breaking pre-existing mods.
which is sad because the game is so bare bones that it absolutely needs mods to feel like a full game. I love the combat but every other mechanic is a major step back even from warband, and warband wasn't a super complex game either, nostalgia aside.

was doing a "genocide" and i learned that if you get rid of enough of a faction's heroes in a short span of time (i was using a mod to recruit them when i take them prisoners) the game doesn't know what to do so it starts having the literal babies of the fallen heroes lead armies. (below is one i defeated and recruited to my clan with the mod)

they seem to be incapable of doing any damage or being hurt in game so if you face one you have to simulate the battle to defeat them. here's two of them "fighting"

what it looks like when you've captured one

can anyone explain why this game has like zero error handling and will just crash at every forseeable opportunity when trying to run mods? at least with warband you just get a fuckton of script errors; here it just crashes with near to zero description of what and why.

Ridiculous that I need to download a mod to actually have the program tell me what module crapped out this time because of an invalid exception or some sort of illegal gpu instruction.

New naval gameplay showcase for War Sails:
Release date: November 26, 2025. Curiously no preorder or price listed on the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2927200/Mount__Blade_II_Bannerlord__War_Sails/
I'm not convinced that they won't delay it again. The gameplay itself looks alright, very similar to Rome 2 Total War with ramming, boarding, ranged attacks and artillery, but from a M&B pov.

Is this worth it on console? Also how is the customization for skirmishes? I want to do a custom match and play as a crusader army under siege.

if you a real mount and blade warband fan and its your only way to experience the game I guess. Its still feels really barebones compared to vanilla warband on the strategy layer even if the graphics and combat feels a lot smoother in bannerlord.

I would still recommend PC for the modded support if that is an option despite the game being a unstable piece of shit so I'd make sure the console port does have decent stability first.

In regards to skirmish options.

this is the default vanilla custom options on PC (max army size is capped by the ini so I have no idea if its capped lower on console but it should be fairly similar considering modern console hardware)
