GS: Minor buffs to damage and the speed of some transitions has been hastened. Overall, nbd which is fine since the GS was in a good state already
LS: ISS delay decreased. It was definitely noticeable before and a fair number of LS mains complained about it so I suppose it's good they fixed it. LS is in a good state
SNS: reverted counter slash dmg nerf. Good change, SNS is far from being overtuned in the damage department. SNS is in a good state.
DBs: New focus mode strike, good for dps slaves but I'll still use the old one as it's much flashier and thus much more enjoyable. Also some other minor improvements. DBs are in a pretty good state, mayhaps I'd like a little somthing new to spice it up.
HH: Gave hilt stab more combo opportunities and gave it counter properties like SA's "counter rising slash". Very good change. The ability to merely hilt stab more often to build up melodies faster is a nice change in and of itself, but the counter really has quite some potential and definitely further raises the HH skill ceiling.
Lance:
Capcom finally treatin us lance mains right, the weapon is fucking godlike now. Pretty nice overall damage buff, bigger hitboxes, charge counter after a minimal knockback guard, a very nice increase in travel distance for leaping thrusts, lower power guard damage. (For all blocking weapons) They even made it so guarding abilities (blocks) no longer trigger in response to ally attacks when using shock absorber: One of the most annoying "fuck shield users" decisions has finally been eradicated. Lance is now in an great state, they shouldn't buff it any more (at least the moveset, damage is debatable but It seems to be alright)
GL: Nothing but a bug fix, GL is in a fine state
SA: Nothingburger offset attack changes. While I think SA is an improvement over World's, most SA mains are in agreeance with the sentiment
@Markorian posted earlier of Rise's iteration being a much preferable direction, for better integrating the Axe rather than being so wholly sword mode focused. At the very least, I do think they need to give ED and ZSD a raison d'être (even if niche/not meta) as compared to FRS. Perhaps if those moves granted the axe the phial explosions it'd yield an interesting alternative playstyle?
CB: Axe mode buffs, they're fine. After the TU2 changes CB has been in a fairly good place.
IG: Some damage buffs and bug fixes. They also made the offset attack easier, probably a good change since IG's was way harder than the other weapons'. IG's in a good state.
LBG and HBG: Damage buffs to most ammo types and more gauge recovery. I don't know (or particularly care) about the state of the bowguns. I largely think their mains are just whining that they can't stunlock-rape the monsters to death in 5 seconds like the prior games.
Bow: Just a bug fix. Seems to be in a fine state. The tracer round could use a rework thoughever.
