outside of MMA Guru's vid and Aniki's vid I've never seen some one talk about the problems with WMMA in a compelling way, either video or essay.
btw we haven't had a women's title fight this year nor have they announced any, or even any women's main event, at least until June.

And the hilarious thing is that recent UFC matchmaking seems to be putting most of their fights together between people who are completely unwilling to take risks who will hope that their shitty kickboxing is slightly better that their opponents shitty kickboxing so they'll win on points. The middle eastern wrestlefuckers are starting to become the interesting part of a lot of cards.

Most of their events are 3+ hrs of prelims followed by 3+ hrs of the main card because nearly all of the fights go to a decision now. That main event on Saturday in London was pathetic. Both guys looked terrified of getting within 3 feet of each other for nearly all of the 25 minutes so they just danced around for most of the duration. Evloev got a couple of takedowns and just sort of gave up on them after a few seconds for some reason. You'd see guys going harder in sparring at your local stripmall MMA gym.

It's the ads that make it that long. And Buffer's obnoxiously boring ring intros filled with live read commercials. These events could be half the time on average if they just kept the pace going. Instead of stalling 20 minutes between fights.

Murphy broke his hip during round three and Evloev still did nothing. Also it was yet another high profile fight loaded with fouls.

I agree with Bisping and DC when they say it should be a single warning and then a point deduction immediately for every further occurrence.

Guys will try to fight cleaner if that was a solid rule.

I thought she was cute and was kind of rooting for her to win, but after this revelation we are firmly in team Grasso. Grasso is a spic and owns it, she is with fellow spic Lopes, I respect that. I hope barber gets slept cold and goes on a loosing streak (or hopefully she almost kicks the bucket like two fights ago and the match gets called off so we can get to the real fight)

Izzy, in particular, has never looked that strained after a cut. Here are some examples. I thought it was the poor lighting at first, but his face looks extremely gaunt and his body is totally deflated. This is one of the worst weight cuts I’ve ever seen on someone, and Izzy usually looks decent in the weigh-ins.

If he loses this fight, I think it’s over for him.

His striking has vastly improved but he still lacks the confidence in it. He had Gibson Jr. at range, shot for a takedown, got overpowered, and got chinned with a brutal elbow that brought him to his knees. Gibson Jr. clipped him with a nasty kick, shin to face, then caught him with an equally disgusting knee. The referee had a hilarious stoppage too. Worth the watch, it was short and sweet. Doubly so because I cannot stand Hooper.

The slop in the preliminaries aside, the main card is why I look anyone unironically shilling the MVP card with a :roll:. Nothing but killers. Sucks that we'll have a piss break co-main, but look what they have to do mimic a fraction of a weak card's hype moments.
