Funny they've cucked Imavov hard, but I guess Sean's memes brings more views, even if his actual fights are boring as fuck.

I hate Chimaev for what he did to my boy DDP, but I'm not gonna root for Strickland either, fuck both of em.

But if the MMA gods find themselves in a good mood for some fun, seeing the fallout of a Strickland victory would be the funniest shit ever.

I mean, I doubt this fight is going to nothing but Khamzat shooting from across the cage, and backpacking Sean, but hey, strange shit happens when Strickland fights... Sometimes, not holding my breath here.

It's probably going to be what you said at the end, but there is meme potential if somehow Sean turns this into a Strickland dogshit fight. That guy Khamzat does not move his head.

Strickland beating MW Dagi Cyril Gane three years ago with a week's notice at basically LHW was enough.

My assumption is that they're finally hedging their bets with these Caucasus fighters and their activity, which in other words means that Volk will never ever see Evloev (aka the first Muslim who can't get into London, and that's another fucking discussion when it comes to sports/fitness and visas).

He never had to learn how to.

Chimaev doesn't have much in terms of fundamentals because all he had to do on all of his fights was to shoot the double leg and secure the take down.

I hate the motherfucker, but Khamzat has the most impressive TD I've ever seen on this sport, he doesn't need any set up or anything, he just bum rushes people and they are on the ground.

His big problem is when he can't sub people, with Burns he was afraid of his Jiu-Jitsu and had to fight standing, to which he took a beating from a guy much shorter and older than him who only has a overhand as a striking tool.

Or when he fought Usman, and found out that Usman had a better ground game than him. And Usman won that fight BTW.

And while Chimaev dominated DDP, the few instances they traded on the feet, DDP was easily hitting him, and while DDP is fast and strong, he ain't the most accurate guy, just goes to show that Chimaev's defense sucks.

That is why Sean is going to get the wet blanket. Strickland might not be a wrestler, but he ain't getting subbed by Chimaev's half-assed Jiu-Jitsu, but his Jabs and teeps won't stop Khamzat because the guy doesn't care about distance management, if he gets to your hips, it is over.

Only way to stop Khamzat is to simply out muscle him, because technique wise there is no closing the gap, and with his Russian creatine, no one in the MW can out muscle him.

Nah, don't think that's the case, Imavov, the n1 contender is also a striker, who had a pretty bad loss to Strickland a few years ago.

They are making the Strickland fight because he is the only MW of any notice, and the guy who was supposedly was to be the challenger to Chimaev's grappling was K.Oed by Sean just the other week.

Not to say Imavov is bad, he is a good striker, but most likely doesn't have anything for Chimaev. Not to mention, Imavov is coming out of a really dirty fight with Caio Borralho, where he managed a 3-2 decision but had about 4 instances of eye poking fouls.

He isn't all that well liked by the fans is what I mean. Strickland, even with all his twitter retardation, does have a fan base.

Sean and Khamzat just talked right past him while he sat on his tongue and watched from the cuck chair in the corner. Imavov should have been demanding his title shot last year as soon as Sean lost the second fight to Dricus. Hell, he should have been lobbying hard after Izzy lost. You don't have engage in Cocaine Conor babbling, but a closed mouth doesn't get fed.

As for whether Sean stands a chance against Khamzat, I'll throw it to Luke Thomas who might be a Sean-hater and a shitlib, had a great insight:
